Bullying is when someone constatly makes fun of you or teases you either physicaly, verbaly, or on the internet. I have seen people call others stupid, dumb, ugly, and other things constatly for a long time. If you are being bullied you should tell someone, if they don't listen you should keep telling more and more adults until they do something about it. As a student of our school, I could report any bullying if I see it happening to anyone.

About the Book: The Wednesday Wars

This book is funnier and more realistic than some books I have read. I really liked this book because it was very intereseting and kept you wanting to read. I would recommend this book to other people. I do agree with the actions of the characters based on the conflict in the book. A teacher forced Holling to read Shakespeare, he complained about it and put it off as long as he could. This book relates to my everyday life because teachers force children to do a lot of things in class and they put it off and complain about it as long as they can.

I have just started reading a new book called The Wednesday War by Gary D. Schmidt. I have read the first chapter and it is a really good book. Holling Hoodhood is starting seventh grade in Mrs. Baker's class. Holling thinks Mrs. Baker hates him and is trying to get him into trouble and bore him to death with Shakespear, this is until she gives him a cream puff. A teacher in the school made cream puffs for a donation and Mrs. Baker gave Holling one for helping her.
Later on the book I think Holling will realize Mrs. Baker isn't trying to get him into trouble or bore him to death. He will realize what her intention was of keeping him in at every recess on Wednesdays. I think she is trying to keep him out of trouble because she sees potential in him. I will find out when I finish the book.

I guess the project went alright. It was very difficult to work in a group this way because your partner isn't right next to you to talk to. Communication worked okay, but I didn't talk to them as much as i should have and they didn't talk to me as much as they should have. The video was very confusing because we didn't communicate very well but the information was good. If i did this again i would make sure to message my partners more often and clarify some things. To improve this project I think you should give them a little more time. I felt like I was rushed throuhout the project and it effects the outcome.

Poets use exaggeration to make their poems more interseting. They also use symbolism to get there point accross more clearly.

My favorite book I have read this year is The Fog by Caroline B. Cooney. I didn’t like Mr. and Mrs. Shevvington because they were evil people who rob young girls of their memories. If they would have not meddled in those girls’ lives I would have liked them better. If they hadn’t done that the book would have been boring though. I don’t think these characters are related to Caroline B. Cooney because she seems like a nice person who doesn’t interfere with a child’s mind to make it worse.

If I had to take the test over again I would study more than I did. I studied in my fifth hour class which is right before i had the test in sixth hour.
