What About the Characters? One of the best books I have read this year was the Percy Jackson series of books. One of the characters I hated was Mr. D. because he was such a jerk throughout the series! I would have made the character have a comppasionate side to him. Mr. D. just seems so bratty that he seems almost unreal. This character was just a guy you loved to hate.
