Bullying is when someone keeps physically or emotionally hurting someone. I haven't really been bullied or seen anyone bullied, but I have seen reenactments and movies about it, and it makes me mad, how someone can do things like that to other people. If a person is being physically bullied, when the bully becomes like he/she is fighting, self-defense is an option, or escaping and telling an adult. If it is emotional, try to reason with that person or tell an adult. If I see bullying, I should try to help that person and not join in on fighting.

About the Book

My book is The Sorceress. This book is a lot more exciting than most books I've read, like The Hunger Games. Though it still has the same character diversity as any book. This has to be one of the most exciting and interesting books I've ever read, and I would surely tell everyone about this book and the series that it is contained in. The conflict shown in the book is pretty creative and original, but what really caught my attention was how the supposed "good guy" was later shown to have had a terrible past. Since this is a fantasy, most of the book is unrelatable, but the main character, Josh, has been faced with some difficult decisions, which I believe every person has gone through.

"Believe you can and you're halfway there."
This quote means that if you think that you can accomplish something, you have already taken a huge step in the path to accomplish this goal. I think that I can apply this to my life by thinking of this quote when I feel that I can't accomplish a goal. I think that the same way that I think about this quote could do the same thing in another person's life and that that person might tell this to someone else, then that person doing the same, etc.

Some of the ways that poets can get what they're trying to get to the reader is to use very detailed words (as in stupendous, rather than good), use litary techniques like similies and metaphors and make the poem clear, not just a super mysterious abstract poem.

What About the Characters?

One of the best books I have read this year was the Percy Jackson series of books. One of the characters I hated was Mr. D. because he was such a jerk throughout the series! I would have made the character have a comppasionate side to him. Mr. D. just seems so bratty that he seems almost unreal. This character was just a guy you loved to hate.

I should have done a little better on my mystery genre test. If I could do it again, I would study more for the test. I only missed like 5 questions so if I had studied, I would have probably got a perfect score. What I should have done was to study every day before the test to get ready. This plan should work because I missed only 5 questions on that test. If I had studied for just a few minutes, I would have aced the test.
