Bullying

Article posted March 9, 2012 at 12:53 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 208

Bullying is when someone hurts someone else physically or verbally. I have heard a lot of bullying. People call a lot of other people names. Someone who is being bullied should tell an adult about the bullying. If i see bullying i can tell an adult about the bullying.

About the Book

I am reading "Recipe for Disaster" by Maureen Fergus. It is a really good book. This book is different because it is for older mor mature girls. My other books anyone could read. I feel that this book is very interesting. I would recommend it to all of my friends. Some of the actions of the characters i disagree with but overall i agree with all of the characters. This book relates to my life because i love to bake and i hate when my plans get ruined.

Pick One

Article posted February 2, 2012 at 04:47 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 98

"Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend." Martin Luther King Jr. I think that this means that if you love an enemy they can become your friend. I could apply it to my life because two people have to love each other to be in a relationship. Yes it can because it can change their mind about having an attitude. This saying could making an impact on the world because all the bullies could not bully any one else.

New Year’s Reflections

Looking back on the months gone by,
As a new year starts and an old one ends,
We contemplate what brought us joy,
And we think of our loved ones and our friends.

Recalling all the happy times,
Remembering how they enriched our lives,
We reflect upon who really counts,
As the fresh and bright new year arrives.

And when I/we ponder those who do,
I/we immediately think of you.

By Joanna Fuchs

What about the characters?

Article posted December 8, 2011 at 10:50 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 84

I just finished reading The Total Tradegy of a Girl Named Hamlet. My favorite character is Dezzie. She is Hamlets 7 year old sister who is in some of her 8th grade classes. There was no character I hated. one thing I would change about Dezzie is her hair and her attitude. Her hair was super curly and she has an attitude the whole time.
