Catching Fire:

• I think that Catching fire had good characterization. When Katniss or Peeta would feel pain, or grief, or sadness, I would understand what they felt. At times, it felt like I was in the book, trying to survive in the Hunger Games.

Animal Farm:

• I liked how the author used Personification to make the animals on the farm talk. I liked that the author was able to tell the story from the animals’ point of view- it made me clearly understand the book.

Hunger Games:

• I enjoyed how the author used great imagery in the book. I could picture everything that was happening in my mind. It felt like I would step outside and be in the Hunger Games because I could picture it so well.

If I were an employer, I wouldn't hire myself. I am trustworthy, and I can get things done, but at my own pace. I can't follow due dates. I am a hard worker, but I can't stay on track.

some facts that I didn't know are:

• The word theater means a “place for seeing”


•  Prehistoric hunters acted out stories about their hunting expeditions.


• Theater buildings were not permitted throughout Europe during medieval times


•  traveling players, known as minstrels, kept the theater alive along with acrobats, puppeteers, jugglers and storytellers.


• During an Easter Sunday service, priests acted out the meaning of the holy day to help teach people who could not read.

          Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites is a song that makes me think. An inference that I make from this song is that there is a kid who is afraid of a monster.

          I think this because in the song, one of the lyrics is, "YES! OH MY GOD!" This gives me the feeling that they are freaked out by something. Then, in the end of the song, the lyrics are, "You don't need to hide my friend, for I am just like you." This gives me the feeling that the monster isn't harmful, and is trying to comfort the person.

Actually, today, when I had food poisoning, my mother took care of me. She brought me toast, and would give me some medicine, and she would also come and check on me every thirty minutes. This really made me want to help others because she took off of work today just do that she could take care of me.

I can't find any good books. I’ve already read all of the good books that everyone has suggested. Please comment and leave some good books.
