Europa
Europa is a moon of Jupiter and is very different from the other moons of Europa. Europa is worth exploring because of its features. This is because it is covered by lots of ice. Some might say that this doesn’t matter, however it does. Many scientists believe that there is an ocean underneath the 10-mile thick ice. Water can also contain life, like our oceans and seas. Europa is 350 million miles from Earth. It was discovered by Italian astronomer Galileo Galilei in 1610. Something discovered that can make life more habitable are its shallow lakes. This proves that there is water underneath Europa. Although we have sent probes there, the moon’s temperature is very extreme; -50 degrees Celsius. Even if we were able to have a probe that is able to withstand the temperature, we would still be forced to dig to miles through solid ice. It was discovered through telescope.
