I think that sixth graders should be in Elementary school. I think this because they can see some of there old teachers. Also because studys say that kids in Middle School have maid smaller gains in math, and no progress in reading at all.So that is why I think that sixth graders should stay in Elementray schools.

I am reading the book Time For Andrew. When I was reading I made three inferences
1. I infer that Andrew is sad because his parents are leaving. I think this because he is crying, whining, and trying to get his parents not to leave and to stay with him.
2. I infer that the Andrew's great grandfather is old. I infer this because his voice is raspy and he can't remember who Andrew is .
3. I infer that Andrews parents don't want to leave Andrew behind. I infer this because his mom was holding back her tears and talking in a high voice, and Andrews dad was telling him how proud he was of him.

I found 5 different persuasion pieces on commercials and here is the first one.
I was watching TV and saw a commercial about Kmart. It showed emotion by the kids came in the store and ran right to all of the fun animals. Then the dad ran to the big flat screen TV’s. That showed emotional appeal because it sowed kids that Kmart has fun toys and to parents or older kids they have cool stuff for them to.
The second commercial that I watched was a StateFarm commercial. It showed trust. This commercial showed trust by that State Farm will protect you and that StateFarm is right for you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRS4shfH1Pw
The third commercial that I watched was a little boy who was going to school who was really sad. He was very sad because he thought his dad wasn’t going to be there any longer because he had heart problems. This was emotional appeal, and logic to try to get you get checked for heart problems, and not let this happen to you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhdw2skOQAM&feature=related
The forth commercial that I watched was about kids reading books. But then kids in Africa who really could use books, but cannot afford them. This commercial is emotional, and logic because they are trying to make you feel bad so you buy books for all of the kids in Africa.
The last commercial that I watched was Saint Jude’s. This commercial was about a cancer place that wanted you to give them money, to help kids in need with cancer. This was emotional, and logic. It was emotional because they wanted you to feel bad for the kids. It was logic because they wanted you to think that they were right and that if everyone sent in money they could find a cure for cancer.

The book that I was reading was The Boy Who Lost His Face Some questions that I was wondering were
1. Who is that old lady on the spooky porch?
2. Why do they want to make her mad?
3 How are they going to steel her cane?
4. What did the spell do?
5. Where is this story takeing place?
Answers
1. The old lady was Mrs.Craner.
2. Steve wanted to make her mad because he thinks that she is a witch , and that her broom is magical.
3. Steve and his friends are going to trash her yard, flip her chair over, poor lemonade on her head, then take her cane away. So she cannot get up to get the phone, and call police.
4. The spell is making Davids face peel.
5. In Dvaids school and in his naborhood.

My article was called A Huge Fossil Find by Vickie An. I read about people finding all sorts of different animal fossils in a canyon. My first thought was wow; I never knew that fossils could be found in a canyon. Then when I kept reading I was thinking Cool, the fossils were about 1.4 million years old. Next I thought that wow I never knew that 1.4 million years ago Saber Tooth Tigers lived in South California. After that I was thinking omg, all of those animals died just because they wanted to get a drink form the pound, then got stuck. That is so sad; I would hate to die because of getting a drink.

.
In this song I made an inference that they are trying to get through to you that even if you get knocked down just to get back, up and try again. Because life isn't easy and you can't give up. But in this picture I think that these people are poor, and that they are trying to get through life on what little they have. I can tell that because of their ratty clothes. Also that the walls are dirty. And much more like they are living outside, there is only one plate but there is two children so that shows that they have limited food, but also that they look tired because their eyes are closed, and sad because they are living outside and not in a house like normal people do.
Much stronger inference Ianzella!!!
