Hey Santu here!  this week I read an article on rats called Rats!  It was about giant rats invading the Florida Keys.  It also explains how this is bad for the local ecosystems.  Below are my reactions, wonders, and facts I learned from the passage.

Reaction: That's so mean how they are going to set up traps to kill the rats!  They are living creatures!

Fact: The giant rats are called African Pouched Rats because, of their hamster-like cheek pouches.

Fact: The African Pouched Rats can grow up to be three feet long and weigh up to nine pounds!

Reaction: That's one BIG rat!

Wonder: I wonder if any of the rats have attacked any near citizens?

Wonder: I wonder how friendly the rats are because, a man has one on his shoulders in the picture next to the passage, but the last sentance of the passage says that they sure bite.
