First of all, do NOT get stressed over them!There is absolutely nothing to worry about.For some advice , you MUST know your math facts, multiplication and division.A strategie you should use is that if the text says that legos are made out of jello,legos are made out of jello because have to use the text not your own knowlegde .A skill that you should be careful about if you don't have it is on the Math and the ELA is the language for example if they use tricky or more mature words not speaking a language other than English. There is one thing about this test that is totally different from all other tests is that you don't need to study.I promise,even if you don't study you will be ready because your teachers will prepare you, I know mine did ,I was totally ready.There wasn't really anything that surprised me.In my opinion the state tests aren't important. I think they're just to mak sure your teacher is teaching you the right things, so they're sort of like tests for the teacher.

I would like to go to South America because my father was born in Colombia so I would like to see what it was like for him when he was a kid.I think I would like to plant a garden or a tree .Then we could pick up trash and make things with it .Maybe we could do something like that in our school.
The last few blogs have had slot to do with reusing and recycling and we made a music video about that so it's all connected to school.

Here is a list of things that we use and throw away everyday: A water and/or glass bottle. A soda can. (A tire). A card board box. A paper bag. All of these things can be used by many people and thrown out but now I have away that I could reuse these objects. I would like to make a fake robot out of the things listed above. I would put the paper bag on the bottom and draw feet. Then I would use the soda can as the body the tire as a neck and the bottle as the head. That's my robot!

On one very special day for Searing town school a real live Native American came in named Whieon to teach us more about how they lived.I think the most important of what we learned is that Native American women called the shots. For example,The ladies chose which men would be hired and fired to be a sachem.Now I know were the term'' ladies first '' came from. I would want to tell the world about the girl who came in with Whion who had been adopted into 5 Native American families.I think that this program should be brought back into Searingingtown next year.I think this because it was a fun , entertaining and educating experience.

I think that kids should be able to BYOD(bring your own device).I think this because kids can use their device in an educational way such as apps research and videos.In the words of Lauren Grossberg"This has been traditionally done by college students but has now spread into k-12 education".In our class today we got our ipads.This is BYOD and it should happen everywhere.

If I were a super hero I would have the power to FLY AROUND HELPING PEOPLE=http:// because I want to help people & to be able to FLY!!!!When Good & Evil fight Good always wins.My super hero name would be... Captain MELI-MEL=http://!!!! My super suit woud be Orange with Green letters that read Captain MELI-MEL=http:// What this says about me is that I'm always trying to do the right thing by helping others & giving them good advice. My secret hideout would be in my backyard but I cant tell you were in my backyard because then it would not be a secret anymore now would it.

My favorite planet is SATURN because... 1.Its one of my favorite colors. 2.I love the rings around it they're so pretty. 3.It has an atmoshere ,so there are no craters on it. 4.It is a very very long disdance from here to the sun. 5.Saturn is AWESOME=http://=http://=http:// But think about it what if ther was another planet out there somewhere, oh gosh if I found a new planet I think I'd name it.... My favorite things about N.Y. are ... The state nickname:The Empire State,because it sounds really cool and is named after one of my favorite buildings. The state fruit:The Apple,because it happens to be my favorite fruit. The state insect: The Ladybug,because if you touch one you have good luck. The state flower:The Rose,because its really beautiful & symbolizes peace. Those are my favorite things about N.Y.

My new years resolution is to never miss a homework ever again. I will only be able to do this if I remember to bring everything I need for homework home. I think I can do it .My motivation is if our class can last 10 days with out missing a single homework we get to watch a movie.

I do think that grades on a report card are important because I want to know if i'm doing good or bad in school.If I was in charge of giving the grades to students I would give them an A,B,C, or a D.I wouldn't want students to feel like they failed.I don't think there is another way to let students know how they are doing other than talking to them.
