In The Report Card, by Andrew Clements, the main character Nora feels that grades on a report card are not important and shouldn’t be worried about. Do you think that grades on a report card are important? Why or why not? If you were in charge of grading students, what would you do? Is there another way that you could let students know how they are doing?

I don’t think we need report cards. I don’t think we need report cards because report doesn’t tell you if you’re dumb or not. I think you just have to learn it and get the grades from your test. Just like Nora.

I think the grades on a report card are important because it tells you what you have to work on.If it is bad, I would take them to a different room and talk to them.

I think grades are important.Its important because you can go to collage and your parents will be really proud of you if you get good grades.If I were in charge of grading students,I will give out a couple of quizzes.I want to know if they are studying or not.

I think its inportant to care about grades because you can get expeled or you can get lead back a grade. I don`t want that to happen to me.

I think grades are important because I think its nice to know how u are doing in school. If I had a chance to grade students I would grade them by their behavior to, and how much they participate in the classroom.

I think grades are important because it that is how you can get into a good
collage.If I was in charge of grading students I would be very struck on it cause it matters but Nora
Thinks it doesn't when it does.In my opinion I think that it's the only way to tell
Them how there doing.

I have to say, report cards are important because your mom or your dad would go crazy if they don't here on how there son/daughter are behaving, then that means that their son/daughter could already be doing wrong things, maybe. If I were to grade a student, I would depend their report cards on their behavior on the specific subject.Or maybe I could just tell the student personally, with his/her parents. This way the student can't hide anythin that they do in the public.

Hi, today I am going to type about report cards. First, I think report cards are important. I think grades are important because it tells you if you have to work hard on something or if you are good at something but should still study or whatever! I also think grades are important because if your grades are good that means to me that you will get a good collage and a good job in the future. And you know the opisit. If I were in-charge of grades I would depend on if they were listening to me and about their homework, quiz, pop quiz and test. But to me, I don't think there is another way for me to grade grades!!!

I think that report card are important but only when your in 7th grade 8th grade 9th grade 10th grade 11th grade 12th grade because when you go for a job they don't look at you 5th grade report card. But they do look at what collage you went to and the way you get into collage are through you 7th 8th 9th 10th 11th 12th report card. If I was grading students I would do it through colors because if you did bad it's not as obvious .

I think grades on the Report card are important because if you get good grades on the Report card you will get a good life.I would grade them with B's or A's.Another way is to email it.

My opinion is that I think grades are important beacause if you do not get a good report card, then that means that you are not doing well in school, and everyone wants to get good grades. If I was a teacher, I might of had a confrence with the students parent and let them know their childs grades.

My opinion is that I think grades are important beacause if you do not get a good report card, then that means that you are not doing well in school, and everyone wants to get good grades. If I was a teacher, I might of had a confrence with the students parent and let them know their childs grades.

I think that her grades are important because her mom and dad are going to punish her for a week. If I was in charge of students I would call him/her over to my desk and say you have to do better.

I do think that grades on a report card are important because I want to know if i'm doing good or bad in school.If I was in charge of giving the grades to students I would give them an A,B,C, or a D.I wouldn't want students to feel like they failed.I don't think there is another way to let students know how they are doing other than talking to them.

I think grades are important because they lead you to new things like what college you go to.If I were to grade someone I would grade them on how they act,how they are doing and how they act with other kids.So grades are important.

I think report cards are really important because it lets you know what you need to work on.
If I was in charge of grading student I would tell the students one by one telling them what they need to work on.
If there was another way to let student know they were doing is to send e-mail to their parent.
