I'm a Patriot

I went to the pub with my friends. They were talking about how angry they are at the British. All the sudden one of them had a idea. The idea was to go look at the ships in the harbor. When we got to the harbor. I saw colonist dressed as Indians throwing tea off the ship. We started cheering for them. The British soldiers were coming this way.So we ran to our houses quickly.

HEALTHY EATING

I think that the cafeteria should stop serving tater tots, hot dogs and juice. They should have a salad as a meal. On "Healthy Day", the cafeteria should serve soup in the winter and salad and fruit salad in warm weather. A fruit bowl would taste great- especially watermelon. I also think that it would be great if they served fresh lemonade made with real lemons, sugar and ice. Something different would be whole wheat crackers and cheese. Maybe the cafeteria could feature a special vegetable of the week on Fridays and give us all a free sample.

Test Worth Nothing

Article posted May 4, 2012 at 02:13 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 381

Fourth grade students, here is a tip- Eat a healthy dinner and go to bed early the night before your test. On the morning of your test, don't be nervous, bring two number two pencils with erasers, eat a healthy breakfast and do your best on the test.I think that I was ready for the test because I studied. Nothing surprised me on the test, but I was surprised when Mr. D. didn't give us homework.I don't think that the test was useful because it was too long and we all got tired.

It would be cool to use old basketballs to make swings. I have a swing made out of a tire. It looks like a horse. The basketball swings could be a piece of the basketball hung between two ropes. You could also use more of the basketball to make a baby swing.

turle shell

Article posted March 8, 2012 at 02:02 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 560

I think that the most important thing we learned was that American Indians used stories to explain their world. My favorite was the turtle shell story. It was really fun and I think that everyone should have a chance to learn this way.
It would be fun if we could have a person from Hawaii who could teach us about their islands.

Byod

I think that students should not be allowed to bring in electronic devices to school because not everyone has the newest devices. They might also used it innappropriately during class.

superhero

Article posted February 10, 2012 at 02:57 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 538

If I was a superhero I would be called B-ballman.
My special power would be the ability to fly. This would help me to see everything that is happening in the world. I would use my power for good to help someone if they are falling. My suit would be green with an orange B on top of a ball.My secret would be in a cave built under a gym.

My favorite panet is Saturn because it is the 6th planet from the eath, and it has a ring around it,and it is the 2nd largest planet, and you can see it from eath. If I descoverd a planet I would name it smurf because I think it will be blue and smurfs are blue.

New York State

I think that it is interesting that the state fruit is an apple. Every year we go upstate to pick apples. There are so many different types and it is fun to taste them right from the tree. My favorite apple is the empire- just like new York's nickname- The Empire State. If I could change one borough's name it would be to change Manhattan to Subway Town.

About the Blogger
A word that describes our fourth grade year would be "rollercoaster". This word represents our year because there are "ups" and there are "downs". We never know what is going to come next. It is a life experience.
