Title: What's Next For Room 25? (11/07/11)
Description: Our music video is coming out so incredible, and we can’t wait for its big premier next week. This week’s blog article has me thinking out loud about some special projects that we can explore together. There are so many areas of study in fourth grade that we can have a lot of fun with. Off the top of my head, there is recycling, the Native Americans of New York State, the solar system, division, electricity, and (my favorite) the American Revolution.

We have a great deal of creativity and energy in our classroom, and I really hope that we will be able to use those as tools for our learning. Remember that with great projects comes great responsibility (Spiderman's uncle said something like that). Along with the responsibility, maturity also goes hand in hand. I can't wait to start working on them! My head is already full of some really cool ideas!

What other kind of projects should we undertake this year? It can be anything! We’re looking for ideas!

You may also add any other information that you would like.

Make sure that you TRIPLE check your blog and your comments for proper capitalization, grammar, punctuation and spelling!

***Remember that a blog is NOT a journal. What you write can and will be viewed by other people, so DO NOT put any sensitive or personal information!***

I think we can make a poster just like the peace one we did and make it with a recycle sign. We all get assigned either reduce, reuse and recycle and write about it!
We put it on the wall and get the message out. It will be perfect, also it matches with are amazing video! That’s what I think we should do!

I think we should make a physical map of the state of New York out of legos. It would be cool to see different parts of the map in different color lego pieces.

Devin -- ABOUT OUR CLASSVIDEO

Our class video was about recycling. Because one day we might run out of gas or heat or something and we wont even notice.Plus if we keep using paper and just throw it out we will run out of trees and trees help us breath so if there no trees we will all die.So if you recycle we will have more papper and trees=http://=http://!

Readers,
I am going to tell you what I want to do in the future in school.I hear that we are doing elecrticity-well I think so- but anyway I think it would be cool if we can do a science expirement. That would be really cool. My favorite thing I did was in the third grade when we were doing buyance. We got to use the clay in our table groups and see if we can mold it to make it float. But anyway I can't wait for the cool things we are going to do this year. So I will type to you awesome readers later.Bye!

Some projects we can do are to make things that can help us from household items. Paper that we normally throw out we can keep and create hats or something like that. Maybe even put 2 crayfish in one tank and see how they react right together right .

We should try to make a recycling bin at home as a project. We should tell people to not throw things in the garbage and put it in the recycling bin.

Griffin -- idea!!!!!!

Article posted November 8, 2011 at 11:05 PM GMT0 • comment (2) • Reads 980

My idea is to give the class a solar system project. We could research a planet with our reading groups or table groups. Then once we know about the planet we could make a travel guide as if someone was going to visit our planet. We'd have to pretend people could live there but make a poster telling everyone all the cool things about our planet.
