The students of 3rd ESO at INS Manolo Hugué, doing the optional subject "Planning a Trip", are going to organize a trip to Holland, in a class exchange. They are going to Naaldwijk, in March. The Dutch students are coming to visit us in May.

Ana Frank The life of Ana Frank

She was born on 12 of June in 1929. Together with his family, had to move to Amsterdam, fleeing the Nazis. There she was given a diary at the age of thirteen. They lived there during the German occupation, from July 9 of 1942 until August 4 of 1944.

The diary of Ana Frank

Anne Frank wrote in her diary when she had to do household chores to help not to be caught. At first, she described her family, but eventually decided to help with her experiences and try to publish in a journal.

The family lived hidden for two years thanks to friends who supplied them with clothes and food, risking their own lives. In August 1944 the Gestapo, alerted by a neighbour, discovered the hideout of the Frank and the family would be moved to the provisional camp Westerbook in Deutschtland

Death of Ana Frank

Anne Frank died of typhus on 12 March 1945, just days before the concentration camp of Bergen-Belsenéste was released. In 1947, just two years after the war, Otto (his father) published the newspaper under the title "La casa de atrás".
