The life of Ana Frank
She was born on 12 of June in 1929. Together with his family, had to move to Amsterdam, fleeing the Nazis. There she was given a diary at the age of thirteen. They lived there during the German occupation, from July 9 of 1942 until August 4 of 1944.
The diary of Ana Frank
Anne Frank wrote in her diary when she had to do household chores to help not to be caught. At first, she described her family, but eventually decided to help with her experiences and try to publish in a journal.

The family lived hidden for two years thanks to friends who supplied them with clothes and food, risking their own lives. In August 1944 the Gestapo, alerted by a neighbour, discovered the hideout of the Frank and the family would be moved to the provisional camp Westerbook in Deutschtland
Death of Ana Frank
Anne Frank died of typhus on 12 March 1945, just days before the concentration camp of Bergen-Belsenéste was released. In 1947, just two years after the war, Otto (his father) published the newspaper under the title "La casa de atrás".

In Amsterdam there were many famous people, such as Cornelia Arents, who was a Protestant, Anne Frank, who was a Jewish girl famous for her diary explaining about the Nazis in Germany and its coexistence, also an engineer Simon Stevin Diseny, famous for many of the windmills in Amsterdam.
Amsterdam is a country with many famous museums, such as NEMO, and cruise ships as the peculiar "PIZZACRUISE", or also go on a trip to Amsterdam in a "bottle boat"of beer sponsored by Heineken.
Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark is one of many luxurious hotels.
Amsterdam, besides has more than seven million bicycles, is one of the countries with more bridges, 20000 bridges across the country.

Naaldwijk is a town of Holland, there are 15.000 habitants. In this town we meet Dutch people in a exchange. The places of interest near Naaldwijk are the Kinderboekenmuseum (museum) in The Hague & Scheveningen, Kijkduin. The houses in Naaldwijk are very big.
It is a town very flat, there are no mountains, and the biggest mountain mesure 300 metres. In Naaldwijk there aren’t change of hour.
In Naaldwijk is predominantly Dutch national football team.

My town, Caldes de Montbui

Caldes de Montbui is a town in Vallès Oriental, Catalunya. Caldes has approximately 17.000 inhabitants. In caldes there are famous monuments like the thermal baths. Caldes is popular too because Picasso and Manolo Hugué, both great artists cured their illness with thatthermal water.
The festival is held from 8 October until 18 October. The first week activities are held in the tent, and last week in the district Remei. Here, they sell food, and other decorative objects. They dance bastoners, giants and big heads. Also held at towers of castles Lion Square- A rather interesting Caldes de Montbui. In the afternoon there are activities for children and evening for the young people and elderly.

Hello! My name is Xènia Garcia Riera, I’m fourteen years old, my birthday is 4 of February in 1997, my eyes are like the honey. I practice futsal (indoor football) in Caldes de Montbui, my town. I wear glasses, are black. My favourite number is 8. When I pissed, pissed me seriously. I like rap, house, and pop music. Nach is my favourite singer.
In my town there are Romanic places like the terms and the source of hot water. I live in centre of Caldes, I study in IES Manolo Hugué, I go to school on car or on foot. I don’t have any brothers or sisters. My mother is hairdresser, I look like her a lot, and we have curly, blonde hair. My dad works in a Textile manufactures, is quiet but says things clear. I have two cats, one is Siamese, is brown with green eyes, and the other is a mix, is like a cow (black and white) with blue eyes. I have a parakeet and a tortoise too. I live with them and with the mum and dad.
My house has 5 floors. I like spaghettis and croquettes. I have brown curly hair, but sometimes I smooth my hair. I have a greatgrandmother, aged 96. I would like to travel to New York. My best friends are Maria Leal, three friends whose name is Claudia, Anna, Laia , Brenda, Aida, Andrea, Laura, Janet and Belén. I like going to party with them. I love football, my favorite team is Futbol Club Barcelona, Messi is the best football player in the world! My favorite film is A 3 METROS SOBRE EL CIELO, is a film very very very beautiful, when I saw it, I cried a lot.

In this credit we meet other people of Holland, -Naaldwijk- a little town like Caldes de Montbui with the same number of inhabitants and the same size. It ‘s between The Hague and Delft. In this credit we will travel by plane, for about two hours. Naaldwijk is one hour from Amsterdam.
I chose this credit because is a way to learn English and meet other cultures, and meet new people from other countries. We chose it for the curiosity of travelling with friends.
