Plannig a trip to Naaldwijk


The students of 3rd ESO at INS Manolo Hugué, doing the optional subject "Planning a Trip", are going to organize a trip to Holland, in a class exchange. They are going to Naaldwijk, in March. The Dutch students are coming to visit us in May.

Anne Frank

Anneliese Anna Frank was born in 12 June 1929 in Fráncfort del Meno (Hessel). She was a german jewish. After she moved to Amsterdam and lived there. She was born when the Nazis where fighting in Second World War.


She is known for The Anne Frank's Diary. She went to a concentration camp in Bergen-Belsen and there she died of tifus  in 12 March 1945.


 


 


Two years later, after the war, her father published the diary of Anne, with the name of Het Achterhuis (Las Habitaciones de Atras).


She writes alone, everyday her experiences while she was hidden in Holland, Amsterdam. She explains her dreams to become a writer. Her family didn't know about that she wrote.


 


 


After her death she became famous, with the diary.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the capital city in Netherland.


There are 780.000 of habitants, so it is not a big city. They speak Dutch


 In Amsterdam all people move by on bike in the city.


It is cold and all people is quiet. There are canals and these are in combination with the streets.


In this city there are pictures of Van Gogh in museums, and you can visit the Anne Frank house.


The city is great and there are eficient sistems of transport.


There are a lot of cybercoffes and coffeshops, it is typical to take coffe at home or in cybercaffe.


The tulips come originally from holland.


In Amsterdam are 1.300 bridges aprox. to cross the canals, and the most famous bridge is the Magere Drug, it is build with wood and it is traditional in the city of Amsterdam. These bridges, at night, are leds and it's to surprise the turists.


The canals of Amsterdam are similar to a half circle and there are 4 half circles.


People in Amsterdam are friendly, and happy.

My name is Artur and I'm 14 years old. I'm from Russia and I live Caldes de Montbui, Spain.


I'm tall and I like playing basketball. I like eating all types of food. I have short blond hair and brown eyes. I have glasses.


 


I spend time listening to music. Sometimes I go to the cinema, my favorite movies are: James Bond, Avatar, Predators, Aliens, Predators vs. Aliens and more.


Also I spend time playing with the computer, I like Counter Strike 1.6 game.


I like watching television when I'm eating and after the school.

My name is Lucas and I'm 13. I live in Caldes de Montbui, Catalonia, Spain. I love food of others country. I like very much fly and visit new sites.


I'm happy when a thing looks good.


My favorite sport is bmx riding. I like go to competitions and participate.


 


In Caldes de Montbui there are a lot of people but it isn't a big town.


 


I'm blond and I have blue eyes. I'm not tall and I have short hair.

The town festival is a traditional festival in Caldes de Montbui. There are some activities to do on these three days. Also there are fair with a lot of attractions and sweets to buy.

Introduction


 


In this credit we are going to Holland and we host Dutch people. We are going to learn more English.


 


 


 


We are going to visit Naalwijk, a little town of Holland, next to The Hague and Delft..


 


When we are in Holland, we are going to Amsterdam and to visit interesting things in the town. We believe that the weather in Holland is cold. When the dutch people come here we are going to visit Barcelona, and they can eat some traditional food in Spain.
