Now we talk about Holland.
InHolland in 2011 there are estimate 16,705,200 inhabitants. In Holland there are many windmills working today. The city of the cheese trade is Alkmaar. The tulipants are original from Holland. There are about 1500 bridges in Amsterdam. One of the most famous is Skinny Bridge or Magere Burg. The highest church tower in Netherlands is The Dom Tower of Utrecht. Van Gogh was the most famous painter in Holland. He was the “King of painters”. Van Gogh best title is Sunflowers
Some famous Dutch footballers trained in FC Barcelona were Van Bommel, Van Bronckhorst, Kuman and Schuster. Now Ibrahim Afellay is training in this team.
Nemo is the biggest centre in Holland. Nemo does mean nobody. Nemo is an impressive construction. This is green and it is next to the central station of Amsterdam. Everybody with lots of interests is welcome.

In this credit we are learning and practicing English. We go to Naaldwijk for a week and two months later they come to Caldes.
We meet a new people. In Naaldwijk are 17.753 habitants. Naaldwijk has some monuments, for example:- Church de Oude Kerk: is a famous church- Heilige geesthof: is a very important town because before was a church.- Church Sint Adrianuskerk: is an other famous church - Water tower: is an old water tower.The climate is temperate; it rains a lot but not very heavy. The hottest days in summer are rarely considerate stressful.In summer, temperatures are 25 Cº while in winter it is possible to find zero temperatures. We go to Naaldwijk in April. From April the temperatures begin to be nicer but again, can be a bit grey and rainy. In Naaldwijk are typical traditions, for example:- St. Nicholas: who is dressed in red Bishop's robes, arrives either on a white horse or in some areas in a boat from Spain and gives gifts to children on December 6th.- Christmas Greeting: "Zalig Kerstfeest", "Vrolijk Kerstfeest en een Gelukkig Nieuwjaar". This celebrated in Western Europe.

OUR TOWN

Our town is Caldes de Montbui. There are about 17.000 inhabitants. This is near Barcelona. In Caldes there are three famous spas ("BROQUETES", " TERMES VICTORIA" and "LA VILA DE CALDES") , the thermal baths, the lion fountain and a lot of parks (" EL PARC DE L'ESTACIÓ", " CAN RIUS", "L'ATMELLER"., "LA PLAÇA DE LA SALUT", "LA PLAÇA MOREU",ETC)
From 9th to 15th of October it's a Caldes festival. This year festival there were a lot activities, there were fireworks and many attractions. Also two famous groupscame here : ''teràpia de shock'' and ''Els catarres''. Teràpia de shock is famous because they created the soundtrack of a very popular TV serie. This serie is about girls and boys who are in a hospital and they are ill.

My name is Alba. I’m 14 years old, my birthday is in 15th of August. I live in Caldes de Montbui, near of Barcelona, at thirty minutes this.
I play basketball and surf, because I like so much. I like other things for example dance, go out with my friends, listening to music, go shopping with my friends and wear bracelets.
I have got long hair, between brown and blond . My eyes are green. My hair is not a lot curly but sometimes I iron my that.
I study in IES Manolo Hugué. I go everyday to school by car with my mum and brother. My best friends are: Sandra, Laura, Sara, Marina, Georgina and Lydia.
My friends are very sociable, kinds. They are crazy. My best friends also are Patxi, Oriol and Gastón.
Now I speak about my family:
I have one brother, Joan, he is 12 years and he is very beautiful. My mum is very friendly and my father is funny. I love that!
Caldes is a normally town, when I meet with my friends I go to the Can Rius, it’s a park. In Caldes there are many shops and parks, I love that town.
My house is big, there are a nice garden and swimming-pool.
I wear contact lenses, but they have no colour.
My favourite team is BARÇA! I love that, it is brilliant, a special team. I love terror films, for example: saw. I also like comedy and romantic films.

My name is Lydia Martin Conejos. I’m 14 years old. My birthday is in 3rd of May.
I live in Caldes de Montbui, a town near Barcelona. I go to high school IES Manolo Hugué.
I playing in a football team, Caldes team, with my friends Cristina, Janet, Zuria and Marta. My friends are sociable, friendly, kinds and funny but Cristina is a very crazy girl. I like playing football very much, speaking English, eating spaghettis carbonara, and other things too. My favourite team is BARÇA it’s the best team of the world! It’s incredible! It’s special team! My favourite colour is blue. My favourite type of films is comedy but I like horrible and romantic films, too. My favourite film is SAW.
My best friends are Cristina, Marta, Alba, Janet, Nerea and Marina. My other best friends are Joel, David and Marc.
I’m friendly, nice, cheerful, sociable and lazy in some occasions.
I’m not very tall but I’m not short either. I have brown eyes and I have long or short hair. My hair is brown and curly.
I have a dog. Her name is Lluna. She is black, brown and white. She is very nice and sociable.
My mother’s name is Montse. She is very nice, friendly, and cheerful and when you come here she will welcome you very well. My father’s name is Paco.
My house is big. I have swimming-pool, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a garden, a big garage, an attic and a laundry.
