In one of these sites you get to take 2 IQ tests and see how much you know about the Civil War!!!! The the other sites teach you more about the Civil War ( You might get some answers for the test on there!).

Well I hope that you guys liked these sites because I know that I did!!!! Bye!!! ;)

Order of Operations

Article posted April 19, 2012 at 03:48 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 107

These websites are really fun, but I think my favorite one would be the video because it shows the right way and the wrong way to do PEMDAS. The one that got it right is the smiling guy. He got it right because he started with the parentheses and the robot started with subtracting.
I hope that you like the websites because I know I sure did!!! Bye!!!

Positive and Negative Numbers

Article posted April 17, 2012 at 03:34 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 69

These games are like the name, positive and negative numbers. I think my favorite game would be the speed boat because you get to pick between two number lines and try to get the number that has a positive number and beat the other speed boats! Number Balls is fun but it's kind of easy because you have to click the balls from least to greatest.
I hope that you guys had fun with these games!! Bye!! ;)

Short Term Memory

Article posted February 15, 2012 at 04:53 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 72

When I played this game it got harder when you moved up a trial. For me the first 2 were very easy then I started forgetting what the letters were and in what order they were in. The letters would only show up for few moments then it would go away.
After we were all done, our teacher gave us a sheet with the answers and she told us that we had to find the percent of all the trials we did. My first 2 were 100% but then I started forgetting them and my other ones weren't so good.
I hope that you had fun! Bye!

Light Blue, Dark Blue

Article posted February 8, 2012 at 04:37 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 62

For these problems I first started with the easiest square and went to the right. When, I got to the third fraction I started seeing a pattern. The denominator was multipyling by 3 and the numerator was multiplying by 2. Once I noticed this, it got so much easier for me.

For the 4th one I got 8/27 because the 3rd one was 4/9. 9*3=27 and 4*2=8. Next, I did 27*3 and got 81. Then, I did 8*2. That one was kind of hard because I don't know 27*3 off the top of my head.
My teacher helped my class with 2 more problems. They were like the squares but they weren't on the sight. We did 81*3 and 16*2 and got 32/243. When we figured that out we went to the next one. We did 243*3 and 32*2. We ended up with 64/729.

Fraction Flower

Article posted January 31, 2012 at 04:53 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 81

I think that trying to find out the fraction is a little hard but fun!! The first thing I did was measuring the area of the small triangle. Then, I found the area of the large square.
After that, I set up the fraction with the smaller area for the numerator, and I used the area of the big square for the denominator. I reduced the fraction and got 50/44,000 to 5/4,400 to 1/880.
I was off by a lot. I was off by 1/372. The real answer is 1/512. Bye!!

Fractions, Decimals, and Percents

Article posted January 23, 2012 at 04:51 PM GMT0 • comment (4) • Reads 115

These games are very fun and they teach you more about fractions, decimals, and percents. The first game I played is where you have to find the cards with the same value. It's kind of like the game Memory because you have to find the cards that are the same.
The second game is about reducing fractions while they move around the box they are in.
The third game is about popping the smallest fraction first, then the bigger one. I think that this game was the easiest for me because it's easy to find the smaller fraction first than the biggest. Bye!

Sliding Puzzle/ Changing Places

Article posted January 3, 2012 at 04:40 PM GMT0 • comment (6) • Reads 136

These games are fun and help you figure out how to solve these kind of problems. You get to move the puzzle pieces around and see if you can get the square or circle into the bottom left hand corner in the fewest moves you can think of doing. I hope yo have fun with this game because I sure did. See you later!! Bye!

More Angle Mania

Article posted December 12, 2011 at 11:57 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 128

This game is about, of course, angles. You get to see what the angle measurements are and add up all the angles and see what you get. I hope you love angles because this would be a great game for you. I hope you like it! Bye!

Pool Geometry

Article posted December 12, 2011 at 11:50 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 88

This game is fun and it has angles in it. On this game you can shoot the red balls into the pocket and you can pick the angle and how much force it is going to shoot the cue ball to. It's fun until you shoot the cue ball into one of the pockets then you lose points. Well I hope you have fun with this game! Bye!

Tessellations

Article posted December 5, 2011 at 04:51 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 110

The interactive tessellations are really cool because you can pick the color, and pick a triangle, hexagon, or rectangle and move it all around and then when you are done you can click tessellate, and it makes it look really cool (it's really simple). The thing I saw in Pattern Blocks is that you can make whatever you want to make with a few blocks, plus it's really fun. The tessellating patterns are really cool because it has artists and they are repeating themselves and it has all different colors and it looks really cool. Bye!

The Eyeballing game is a fun game to see how accurate you are at making right angles, and a bunch of other fun stuff. I let my dad play this and he is really good at this game. His score was 83.11, and I think that is really awesome because he is my dad. I hope everybody who plays this game will have as much fun as I did! Bye!

Angle Games

2 angle football is a fun game to play because it teaches you how to measure angles through sports. 10 fruit picker is also a fun game because you can pick how many degrees you want to go back and forth. 9 gorilla angles is a little hard because you have to pick the force and angle to get to the other gorilla. 13 alien angles is fun because you get to pick the angle, and if you get the angle right the alien blows up, but if you get the angle wrong too many times the alien shoots you back. Bye! ;)

Drawing Cubes

Article posted November 7, 2011 at 05:01 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 106

B-Cubed is a fun game to play because it challenges your mind (it gets harder and harder). The Isometric Drawing page is fun because you can make a huge cube however you want it. I think I have gotten a lot better at making cubes because all I have to do is think about what it looks like then I can draw it.

Reaction Times

Article posted October 17, 2011 at 04:53 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 112

The first reaction time in the side link I got was 00.42 seconds. That is really good to me. That was a fun game I think. I hope you like that game too. The second reaction time on the side link I did was 0.3548 seconds. That's a little bit worse then the first one but still is kind of good. I liked that game too but I liked the first one better. The third one I did was 26 dots in 30 seconds. That one was fun to me because it's fun to try and get a whole bunch of dots in 30 seconds. The fourth one is kind of hard because you have to pick a color then press start, then what for the background to change colors then press the dot with the right color then press stop. The average I got on that was 1.813 seconds that's bad. I like the fifth one because in 20 seconds I got 32 boxes clicked on, and that's good for 20 seconds. The sixth one I did was pressing anywhere on the screen when the dot changes colors and the average I got on that was 0.292 seconds that's good. See ya next time!
