Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. Water pollution is when the water is dirty and gross. The water may have chemicals and other icky things in it. It can make people sick. Fish and plants can't breath in dirty water.
