Portugal is an amazing country located in south of Europe. Portugal is one of the oldest nations in Europe. It became the member of the EU in 1986.Portugal earned its independence in 1143.Although Portugal is a pretty successful it had an earthquake in Lisbon which made them lose a lot of wealth.
Portugal has beautiful landscapes. Southwest Europe borders Atlantic Ocean. Portugal is a peninsula. There are mountains north and rolling plains in south central. Portugal’s flag is about two-thirds red and about one-third green with a symbol with some yellow, red, and blue. The capital city is Lisbon, some other larger cities is Faro and Porto. The population is 10.2. There type of government is Republican. Portugal’s currency is Euros. There primary language is Portuguese.
In this country there weather is cool and nice. The average climate in Portugal is 16 degrees Celsius {61 degrees F}. The average male age in Portugal is 38 years old and the average female age is 42.3 years old. The average age that in Portugal people knows how to read and write is 15 years old. Males are 95.5% and the females are 91.3%Roman Catholic is 84.5% and 2.2% is Christian.
Portugal has lots of natural resources such as fish, tungsten, iron, copper, tin, and uranium ores. Some of the industries in Portugal are foot wears and textiles. Export from Spain, Germany, France, United Kingdom, United States, Italy, and Belgium. Some customs in Portugal is Portugal Day, Good Friday, Easter, Labor Day, Assumption Day, All Saints Day, they also have Carnival and many more.
Some attractions in Portugal are Portugal’s National Library, The Sound of Portugal, and 30 scenes of apparitions of Fatima at the Fatima Wax Museum. Some recreational activates to do in Portugal is river cruising and Centre Vina Do Castelo Portugal.
In conclusion I think Portugal is a beautiful country. It’s had lots of natural resources, nice weather, fun carnivals, great activities, and fact-filled museums. Why not take a vacation down to Portugal?

A new years resolution is a commitment someone makes in the new year, a goal they want to achieve .Start new like turning a page in a book. Its believed that the Babylonians started the new years resolution.They believe that the new year means to look past old mistakes and start brand new.
A new years resolution for home is to clean more and take care of mt little sister.
at school I would like to get a b in science, and a personal goal is to make mt parents let me out the house more.

1. I like clothes,dogs, scary movies, and music.
2. I recommend the book To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee because it is a great book and its very interesting ounce you get into it.
3. My favorite animal is a polar bear because I think they're cool and cute.
4. I think the movie twilight breaking dawn is awesome because it is intense and surprising
5. The best thing i ever made was my tuna sandwiches because every time i make it everyone tells me how i make it because its so yummy.
6. If i had one million dollars i would shop, shop and shop some more, also i would by a house , pay for my college, help my family, and help the poor unfortunate people.
7. I wish i had a tea cup whit Yorkie with a little pink bow.
8. If i could change something about the world i would take out all pollution.
9. I hope i get my iPod fixed for Christmas!!
