We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. Tree Planting!

 The tree planting expirience was fun. Planting Conifers and shrubs in rows took a little bit of coordination, but we got it after a while. My Mom also came with us to plant trees. I personally spaent most of my time digging rather then planting, I personally like digging more than planting trees. I am also amazed that people were able to plant a total of 5,000 trees! Heres a pic:
