We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. What I learned I learned that 2 make a homemade battery generally needs Copper sulfate solution and copper and zinc strips. I also learned that a chemical reaction will go and then they will charde. I also learned that when you charge the batteries for a longer time you will have it stay on longer. Thats pretty much what I learned
