We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. 1.in 6.1 i learned that different surface types can have friction.i learned that the more mass something has,the more friction.in 6.3 i learned that different surface types have different friction
2.i used a spring scale that weighed the weight of the block
3.i learned that you should only change one varibale so you know what changed

to make a battery you need a copper strip,a zinc strip,rubber band,copper sulfate solution,blotter paper,a grain of wheat light bulb.it works because the sulfate gives it power
