Four Season

Article posted May 14, 2012 at 03:03 PM GMT • comment • Reads 56

The best vacation spot I have ever been to is called Four Seasons Camping Area in Naples, Maine .I go up there every summer with my mom, dad, sister, and brother. You can rent a site and stay there or you can become seasonal like me. They have a lake were you can swim and take your boat out for a ride. They also have a sandy beach, a park, a store and a game center. In each site you have a fire place were you can cook marshmallows. And you can look up at the stars at night and may see a shooting star.

I think that it is a good vacation spot I have been going there all my life if you go into the town you can get some ice cream you could drive or take your boat there are some good restaurants out there too. One more thing there is a library out there to get some good books. My favorite part is swimming and going out tubing that is so fun. You should go to Four Seasons Camping Area.

VACATION

One of my favorite places to visit in the summertime is a amusement park called Seacoast Fun Park in Naples, Maine. My favorite ride is called the SNOW SLIDE, so called because you can ride in the snow or not. There is a Sky Swing that is 3 stories high. It is fun and scary at the same time. There is a Go Kart track and a Water Cart. You can play miniature golf. There is also a Zip line, but you have to be at least 9 years old to ride in it.
There is a food court, I give it 2 stars. They have soda smoothies, pizza, hamburgers, fries, grilled cheese, and more. If I could give this park a rating I would give it 4 stars.

The Agora was the heart of the ancient Athens it was a gathering place and marketing center for citizens to shop, discuss affairs of state, exchange gossip, and discus politics.
The Agora in Greek meant “a place of gathering” or “assembly” for centuries it served as a busy market place. This agora was used as a residential and burial area as late as the Neolithic period 3000 B.C but early in the 6th century in became a public area for the citizens after the Persian war in 480-79 B.C. it had series of extended building to reach its final form in the 2nd century B.C.
The Agora was a large rectangular space surrounded by buildings there were platforms, altars, statues of gods, sportsmen and political figures there shops were located there where people could buy food, clothing, remedy, jewelry and even slaves. Women and their slaves would come to the fountain to get there supply of water. Women did not do the shopping the men would do the shopping while they had their slaves and donkeys carry the purchases. Merchants, farmers and crafstman would come in the large empty space and set up there stands and sell there produce the farmers would sell meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, chesses, eggs, etc. The Merchants bought and sold exotic items live Ivory gems, silk, wool and purple dye and lastly grain. The craftsmen hall stalls in our outside the agora they took orders from citizens they would measure there sandles or sell their goods to people. In the shady parts of the Agora family and friends could meet to chat, citizens could join in, or listen to discussions about community and political issues or maybe watch a musical and theatrical entertainments.
The Agora had also served for theater and gymnastics performances where can go to watch musicals, or to watch gymnastics performances until special buildings were reserved for these purposes.
