Are you a huge fan of seafood, especially seafood in a taro basket? Well you’re in luck because this restaurant, Chau Chow restaurant, contains all the seafoods. This restaurant is located Dorchester.
The seafood that the restaurant serves is absolutely OUTSTANDING! I can’t emphasis how scrumptious their food is. The food that they serve is dumplings, pho, fried noodles, taro basket, crab balls and more. The last time I have been there was to celebrate my martial art brother’s birthday. I recommend this restaurant because the food is just absolutely OUTSTANDING=http://=http://!!!

Ancient Greeks started constructing public buildings around 1200 BC. At first, their buildings made of clay-bricks, but in using this material, the buildings didn’t last very long. Then, around 500 BC, the Greeks had more money and they developed building with marble. Marble a beautiful white stone that can be polished to a high shine.
The Parthenon is a temple located on the Acropolis, the highest hill in Athens, Greece. The Greeks dedicated the temple to the Greek goddess, Athena, whom the people of Athens considered their virgin patron. Athena was the goddess of war.
Construction began in 447 BC when the Athenian Empire was at the height of its power. The construction was completed 438 BC, although the decorations of the Parthenon continued until 432 BC. It is the most important surviving building of Classical Greece, generally considered to culmination of the development of the Doric order.

If I were principal for a day...
- I would let the kids leave the school at 1:45 pm.

- I would get better lunch for the kids.

- I would have recess from 10:45 am-1:40.

- I would let kids use electronics.
- I would let kids have no homework.
- I would let kids have vacation two weeks per month.
- I would let kids have no projects.
- I would let the teachers take a vaction every two weeks per year.

Greek Essay
Ancient Greek scrolls were used to send messages, record information, to date important events and were used to be able to read on. In ancient Greece, scroll’s were usually written , painted or drawn on for the purpose of transmitting letters or messages or just for decoration a scroll is usually divided into pages when you unroll the scroll it shows one page at a time to be able to read or write the text is also to either be written form the top to the bottom or depending on the language from left to right, many scrolls sizes were about 1ft wide and about 30ft long when unrolled. Scrolls were first found or began Mediterranean in Egyptian civilizations. Ancient scrolls were used just like a notepad; they were used scholarly to record information. They were also used to write poems and paint. They were used to make life easier like a way to transport written material. The Greeks tied strings so the scroll will be closed tightly. Ancient Greek books were written on scrolls.
The Greek alphabet has only twenty-four letters. The scroll (that we made) was made of parch paper and 8 square sticks (with corners trimmed) (4 on each side) and 4 beer corks (2 per side). Individual sheets were overlapped and pasted together to form a long roll, or charta, a term that came to signify any form of paper, whether written or unwritten. It was the inner, horizontal layer that was used for writing. The outside of the roll was usually left blank, although Pliny did bequeath to his nephew, Pliny the Younger, one hundred-sixty rolls on which both sides have been written( opisthograph). The manufactured papyrus roll, says Pliny, comprised no more than twenty sheets (about fifteen feet). The book roll or volumen (from volvere, to roll), on the other hand, could be as long or short as needed, but tended to average thirty to thirty-five feet (sufficient to contain a single book of Thucydides). The standard way of reading it was to unroll (explicare, to unfold) the scroll with the right hand, while winding the portion that had been read back up with the left. To give the roll stiffness and to prevent bending, it was wound around a wooden or ivory rod, or around rollers, forming a cylinder that could be handled by the projecting knobs on the ends. Often, too, another sheet of papyrus (protocol) was attached at the front to protect the roll when wound. A tag or titulus, written on a separate piece of paper and affixed to the roll, identified its contents.

People started making New Years resolutions the year of 153 B.C.
The reason why people make New Years resolutions because they want to make themselves a better person. For example, maybe a student gets bad grades the may want to raise their grade. If a child disobeys their elders, they may want to change themselves.
This year, my New Years resolution is to obey my family, help with the house chores.I am committed to try to raise my test scores in school so that I do not fail any academic classes. My final resolution is to try to grow as tall as my older brother.

Veterans Day
Veterans Day honors ALL soldiers. Some examples of soldiers we honor are the U.S Army, The Navy Seals and more. Veterans Day is about ALL soldiers who have served us for at least four to six years. A solider I am familiar with is my dad, Quan Nguyen and he served his country since he was seventeen years old. He joined after he finished high school in Vietnam.
He joined the army in Vietnam. The name of the army he joined was “Gia Dinh Mu Do.” He served the army in Southern Vietnam. During the Vietnam War between the Northern and Southern Vietnam, my dad was captured as a prisoner by the Northern Army. He was in jail for seven years. Since he didn’t like the jail food they gave, he would eat rats, mice and berries when the prisoners go outside. My dad knew which berries to eat and not to eat because some berries were poisonous. Until this day, my dad goes to EVERY memorial day celebration because some of his friends that he met in jail are deceased. I hope that people will join the army to protect our country! Thank You Veterans!
