you can be safe with electricity by making sure that when you plug something into an outlet, plug it in all the way so none of the metal is touchable.

what was the difference 2010 and 1930's? The difference between 2010 and 1930 CO2 you get 811 CO2 



how much CO2 do we use in 2010? in america we used 964 CO2. that is supper bad if we could go back to the 1930.

I learned that we use much more energy than in the 1930's.And that we need to be safe with electricity. Insulation helps use conserve energy, it does this by reducing temperature changes.Don't put things on top of an electrical power cord,electricity and water don't mix,don't stick anything metal inside any electrical aplliance,and etc.

The fuels that put less carbon in our atmosphere are

tree's.

We can conserve energy with better insulation because the warmth or cold would stay in the house!



If you are going to touch or be around copper sulfate you should wear glasses and gloves. You need to be careful around uncontained electricity!Don't place stuff on top of electric cords.Don't put things by lamps. Don't fly a kite by power cords. Don't put forks in toasters.Don't pull a toy by the power cords.Don't use a hair dryer by water.Don't stick things into light sockets.



Electric things don't put carbon into the air.

1) what i learned was that we used a lot more energy in 2010 then we did in the 1930s.like:



1930s car~10 pounds of carbondioxide a year



2012 car~80 pounds a year



2)not sure yet.will get back to that....



3)do not set things on top of power cords-it can casue fires.do not use electricty around water or any liquids-it can electrocute you.do not use metal around open electricity-it can electrecute you too.D not pull things by their power cord-it can break the wires.do not touch over-head power lines,no matter if its your hand or something like a kite-it can electrocute you or set other things on fire.Dont put paper around hot light sources-it can set the paper on fire.never put anything around an electrical socket-it can electrocute you and set other things on fire with sparks of energy.

I learned that in the 1930's the average of Carbon Dioxide Emission was 153. In the 2010's we used 964 pounds of Carbon Dioxide Emission. That is a 811 difference.

How does insulation help you conserve energy?

It makes it so less heat goes into the room. So you don't have to waste as much energy turning down the thermometer.

What are some things you learned about being safe with electricity?

You should never put a fork in a toaster or near an outlet. Never put drag something by its cord and never put something heavy over a cord.

Which fuels put less carbon into our atmosphere?

Electrical things don't give out carbon dioxide into the air. Things that are engine powered give out carbon dioxide.

I learned that we use a lot of energy in 2010 now that we play video games go on facebook. We have microwaves ovens... We have a lot! Insilation Conserves insilition inside. It collects energy so its warmer inside. To be safe from energy you should stick things in outlets, have things plugged in when your not using them, dont put things on top of cords and have things near electrical wires. Trees give us less carbon then everything. Houses usemost carbon.

I learned that energy is used for a lot of things!! Energy is used all day! It charges phones, batteries, cars, and much more!! Even if your phone charger car charger(etc.) is plugged in but the other end isn't charging anything energy just runs out and you are wasting energy!!:( that's not good.

I learned That we used more energy in 2010 then we did in the 1930's! And that is a lot!! Insalation consevers energy by keeping heat inside of something so you don't have to heat up the house so much. Some things I learned about being safe with energy is that if you don't have it plugged in all the way it is much easier to catch fire. Fuels that put less carbon into our atmosphere is cars, houses, and trees are the best because they take carbon out of the air.

The average in 2010 was 965 pounds of carbon dioxide according to a website on the internet. Insulation helps keep things warmer which helps preserve energy.Some of the safety things not to fly a kite near power poles. Also watch power outlets and cords and do not stick forksin power outlets.The fuels that put carbon in the air are cars houses and trees are the best because they take carbon out and that helps.

Did you know, in 1930 our machines emmited or gave off ( for a small nieborhood) about 134 pounds of carbon dioxide. That may seem like a lot, but for the same size nieborhood in 2010 our machines emmited about 964 pounds of carbon dioxide!! now THATS a lot.

Energy is in everything. We use energy for everything we do, from making a jump shot to baking cookies to sending astronauts into space.



There are two different types of forms of energy Potential Energy - which is stored energy in something or another and Kinetic Energy -  Which is working energy or activly moving or being used energy.



You can also classify energy as renewable energy, such as Wind energy or Sun energy, and there are non-renewable energy sources such as trees, coal, oil and others.

The energy in a batterie when the energy goes though the wires and then the batterie to I there light the light bolb or motor And the electrical energy is the energy thoughing in to the motor.The mechanical is the ends and or around the motor.

i learned that we use a lot more energy than we used today because of the x-box the chargers for phones and i-pods etc. etc.

the insulation helps the energy go down because you just have to turn up the heat and then since your house is insulated it can stay warm for hours

i learned that if you take off the cover to an electrical outlet to see what is wrong after you dropped your coffe or water on it this morning you might be electricuted.

water is a fuel that doesnt let carbons into the air and also you can use grease to use as fuel but i dont know if it would set of deadly carbons

yep. its kinda interesting. well anyway i have to say what i learned. so yeah. anyway, the first thing that i learned was

that in 2010 we used 164 pounds of carbon dioxide emmisions, versus 1930, when people used only 153pounds. big difference!

the second thing i learned is

that more insulation helps you be more conservative with energy, because you dont have to use the heater/air conditioner that much.

NEXT IS ELECTRICAL SAFETY! i learned that sticking a fork in the toaster is not really a very good idea and that bare wires can start fires. (hey that rhymes!) and lots of other HEALTHY tips like that!!

aaaaand thats about it!!

In 2010 we use loads more energy than we used to use. We don't have enough trees to absorb the carbon dioxide that the houses emit.

Insulation conserves energy by keeping heat/cold inside so you don't have to use a heater or AC.

I learned to be safe with energy to keep the electrical sockets enclosed. I learned to stay away from electricity when you have water.

Fuels like gasoline pollute the earth. But fuels like vegetable oil fuel don't pollute the earth.

1. I learned that we use almost 4 times as much energy from houses than we did back then . I also learned that cars back then only let out 10 pounds of C02.



2.By keeping us warm so we don’t have to use the thermostat as much!





3.To not put stuff on top of chords and to not to fly a kite near power chords and poles.

Q1. We didn't use as much energy in 1930...(or something like that.).....then we did in 2010. Back then We didn't have iPods or lots of cars like we do now.

Q2.Insulation conserves energy because it holds in heat or cooling, so you don't use as much energy to heat or cool.

Q3.Make sure outlets are plugged in all the way. Also don't put a fork in the toaster. especially this Toaster.

Q4.Ummm.......I'm guessing natural fuels but I'm not really sure. More natural fuels mean less carbon.

WOW we use a lot of energy these days back then we only used 154 and in 2010 we use 964.

So maybe next time you turn on a light think about how much energy your using. To plug in a light or a lamp it takes up energy and we keep those on all day thats already a lot of energy and thats only one of the things we turn on in one day.

I learned that in 1930s we used less energy then we do now. The average home in the 30s used 2 pounds of carbon dioxide,the average home now uses 92 pounds of cd. Each gallon of gas a car uses 172 pounds of cd in 2010,in 30s each gallon of gas the cars used 20 pounds of cd. In the 30s trees absorbed one ton over there lifetime it's the same for 2010. Insulation is used 2 conserve energy inside structures by reducing tempature changes. I learned that how you be safe with electricity, you can do many things wrong, like you can place a object on top of a electrical cord, cause doing that you can damage the cords.also I learned that if u dangle something over a lamp u can cause a fire,and dont pull things by a power cord, just dangerous.

The amount of energy we used in 2010 was much, much more than what we used in 1930. We used around 60,000 in 2010. To be safe with electricity you should always make sure your outlets are fully plugged-in, don't step on cords, etc. Some fuels that put less carbon in our atmosphere are fuels like coal, wood, and fuels like that.

2. It takes less power to cool things down.



3. Do not stick things in sockets that do not belong in it. Don't put broken plugs in a socket.

1 - In the 1930's they didn't have everything we have now , They had electric cars and now we have cars that run on gas . They hardly used any energy at all .

2 - Well insulation can be heaters , air conditioning and all kinds of things but some heaters & Air conditioning have to be plugged in . But I'm pretty sure things that are plugged in take more energy .

3 - I learned to not put your fingers in sockets because I've done it and it hurts . Also , Some things will shock you if you don't plug them in or take them out right .

4 - Trees & Oil .

Well we use energy for lots and lots of things we connected a battery to A wire and put a little lightbulb on it to see if it wold lIght up and it did! I had a lot of fun. :D

I learned that in 2010 we used 811 more pounds of carbon than in the 1930s. That is so amazing. It is also scary. We have more cars and less trees than before. But now we have solor powered road lamps. So we have negative and positive affects on the amount of carbon released into the environment.

Insulation helps conserve energy by using less enrgy to cool orwarm a room.

I learned that to be safe with electriciy you need to be careful when you are using electrical appliances. You need to keep things that could dangle into lights out of the way. You need to make sure that only bread is put into toasters. That only electrical plugs are in electrical sockets.

The fuels that put less carbon in our atmosphere are solar power, wind power, andd nuclear power. These kinds of power are unlimited and dont get used up. Other kinds of fuel like oil or coal aren't unlimited and can get used up.
