Plant cells and animal cells have a lot of things in common like: Cytoplasm, Cytoskeleton, Endoplasmic Reticulum, Golgi Apparatus, Mitochondria, Nucleus, Peroxisomes, Plasma Membranes, Ribosomes. But they also have differences like: plant cells have Cell Walls, Chloroplasts and Vacuole and animals cells don't. Also, animal cells have Centrioles, Flagellum and Lysosomes and plant cells don't.

Animal cells do not have rigid cell walls, this allows Animal cells to form and adopt various shapes. Many types of plant cells there is an absence of flagellae and Centrioles that are found in animal cells. The plant cell has a cell wall and the animal cell doesn't. Unlike the animal cell the plant cell has a chloroplasts.

I have studied both the plant ant the animal cells and I have found some similarities and differences between them.

These are some things that both types of cells have:

Plasma Membrane, a Nucleus, a Nucleolus, Mitochondria, Ribosomes, Endoplasmic Recticulum, Golgi Body, Peroxisomes, and Microtubles

These are some things that only plant cells have:

The shape of a Plant Cell is more square like, Cell Wall, Chloroplast and Vacuole.

These are some things that only animal cells have:

The shape of an Animal Cell is more of a circle, Centrioles, Flagellum, and Lysosomes

Those are some similarities and differences between plant and animal cells. Thank you for reading!

this project has tot me a lot, before i didnt know anything. Even thought they are different, they have many, many things the same. The only part that animal cells have that plant cells don't are centriole. Also, the only things that plant cells have that animal cells don't are chloroplasts and cell walls. The many things that plant and animal cells have in common are: nucleus, nucleolus, cytolsol, centrosome, golgi, lysomes, peroxisome, secretory vesicles, cell membrane, mitochondrion, vacuole, smooth endoplasmic reticulum, rough endoplasmic reticulum, ribosomes. they also have things that are not the same

There are many difference and similarities between plant and animal cells. Some difference include, plant cells are retangular shaped and animal cell are round. Plant cells have cell walls and animal cell dose not. Both have neucleus, cytoplasm, ribosomes, midacondria, endoplasm reticulum.

Plant cells-plant cells have plastids,as well as a cell wall they have skinny steams unlike an animal cell.

What they have in common is that they both have nucli organelle like ribosome. They also preform mitoses to divied

Animal cells- they have centrioles unlike plant cells.animal cells have a small vacuoles. Animal cells have havel flagellum which a plant cell does not have.

In our class we cave been learning about plant and animal cells. We learned what cells are the same and what cells are different. But there are slot of similarities. The cells that are both in animals and plants are nucleus, nucleolus, cytosol, centrosome, cytoskeleton, Golgi, ribosomes, lysosom, peroxisome, secretory vesicles, cell membrane, mitochondrion, vacuole, smooth enapasmic reticulum, rough endoplasmic reticulum. A cell that is only in animals is centrioles. And there are two cells that are only in plants are chloroplast and cell walls! Those are the differences and similarities in plants and animals!

A lot of differences are the looks. Plant cells are typticaly round to square while an animal cell, more specificly an parameciumis oval with little cilia lining it. Also another difference it what it has. Animal cell has a gullet, the cavity of the pharynx, while the plant doesn't have one. But a similarity is the both have nucleus which is the most useful organelle of the animal cell, paramecium. I conclude that both type of cells can be simimlar and different.

Plant ad animal cells are alike because they have most of the same things that they are build with. For example, plant and animal cells both have Nucleus, Nucleolus, Cytosol, Centrosome, Ribosomes, Golgi, Lysosome, Peroxisome, Secretory Vesicle, Cell Membrane, Mitochondrion, Vacuole, Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum, Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum, and Cytoskton. Plants and animals cells are different because some of the things that they are made different. For example, plant cells have Cell wall and Chlotoplast. Animal cells have Centriole. Animals cells doesnt have a cell wall and Chlotoplast and plant cells doeent have Centriole.

When I first started this project I thought that there was major differences between plant and animal cells. I was soo wrong! Even thought they look and work different, they have many, many similarities! The only part that animal cells have that plant cells don't are centriole! Also, the only things that plant cells have that animal cells don't are chloroplasts and cell walls! The many things that plant and animal cells have in common are: nucleus, nucleolus, cytolsol, centrosome, golgi, lysomes, peroxisome, secretory vesicles, cell membrane, mitochondrion, vacuole, smooth endoplasmic reticulum, rough endoplasmic reticulum, and ribosomes! Even though they all have the same components, they do different things depending on which cell they live in!

Plants and animals are both made up of cells. These cells are similar and different in many ways. Both have a nucleus, nucleolus, cytosol, centrosome, cytoskeleton, Golgi, ribosomes, lysosomes, peroxisome, secretory vesicles, cell membrane, mitochondrion, vacuole, a smooth enapasmic reticulum and a rough enapasmic reticulum. The only thing an animal cell has is centrioles, and the plant cells have chloroplast and cell walls.

1. they both have a nucleus.

2. they both have mitochindria which crates energy for the cell for various functions.

The things that they have different is thatthe plant cell has a vacuoles, chloroplasts and a cell wall the animale cell dose not have a vacuoles, chloroplasts and a cell wall.three things are different except that the animale cell is way different to a plante cell because a plante cell of corse comes from a plane and an animale comes from an animale.

We are made up of millions of animal cells, and s tree is made up of millions of plant cells.

You may be surprised how few differences there are between us and a tree, and how those differences and so crucial to whether or not we are a plant.

Animal cells don't have a thick cell wall surrounding them like plant cells do, all the animal cells have are a thin membrane. Animal cells also have little circles called Lysosome inside them, although plant cells have little circles in them as well they are called Amyloplast and those are different I believe.

Plant cells have much larger Vacuoles than a animal cell and have chloroplast in them too so it make it different structure, as well does the fact that plant cells are square and animal cells are circular.

In many more way they are the same, they all are filled with cytoplasm have one centrosome, a rough ER and a smooth ER, one nucleus with a nucleolus and was surrounded by a nuclear membrane.

Each also has several mitochondria's, some ribosomes, and one Golgi body.

Our cells have much more in common with plants than not, so they are technically like our brothers and sisters.

How plant and animal cells are the similar

They both have a nucleus. They both have mitochindria which makes energy for the cell for all the functions.

How plant and animal cells are different

Plants cells are different from animal cells because plant cells are in plants and animal cells are in animals. They are different also because plant cells have vacuoles, chloroplasts and a cell wall the animal cells don't have vacuoles, chloroplasts and a cell wall.

When we first started to learn about the different and a likes between the animal and plant cells I made a prediction that they both and nothing alike but like 2 or 3 things. But plant and animal cells have alike is they both have; nucleus, nucleolus, cytosal, peroxisomer, ribosomes, glogi, lysosomes, peroxisomer, and lots more. They are different because animal cells don't have a thick cell wall surrounding them like the plat cell. Animal cells have a gullet, the captivity of the pharynx, while the plant cells don't. And this is how plant and animal cells are alike and different.

Note from Mr. G - How about chloroplasts?
