 Woolly Mammoth They were vegetarians so they didn’t eat any meat. Every day they would go outside and get food. To get food they would have to put their trunks on the ground and had to swing side to side until the snow was gone and they could pick up the food. Usually when the mammoths were traveling they attacked by predators like wolfs and saber tooth tigers, but they usually only attacked the young or sickly. They rarely attacked a full grown mammoth. There are different kinds of mammoths, but they all evolved by the Ancestral mammoth. Then the ancestral mammoth evolved in the steppe mammoth and the Columbia mammoth.
