Dear Mrs. Muller,
could we have a dog for a class pet. Here are some reasons why. We could save a poor little dog from the pound from not being slotered. Also the dog could be so much fun to come with us on the field trip and swim with us.Finally it would be educational because we could learn to be more responsible by cleaning up the dogs food.

Have you ever found a fossil? Well Maggy Horvath was operating a huge shovel at the Northern Alberta oil sands when she saw something tan in the darker stones. She amediatly called her boss and tould what she found. Then a paleontoligist from the Royal Tyrrell Museum was examining her find.From the shape of the bones , he could tell that the fossil was a plesiosaur. The plesiosaur had a smallish head and short body , but a very long neck. With a mouth full of sharp , pointy teeth it could hunt any fish! The plesiosaur was so rare that its like they are the top predator! Maby one day you can find a cool fossil too!

Today we saw a grade six play and played a game. The play was about four animals that needed rain so they asked the lion king what to do to get rain.The lion said ''say the name of the magic tree''.But the three animals forgot the name of the tree, but the turtle remembered the name of the tree because he was slow and saw the rock in the path going back.Than he told the tree her name and it started to rain.Then after the play we got to do a game in french.We had to count until ten and who ever lands on ten is out.Thats all for today! By!

Today we had a perimeter problem. I had to make a chocolate shape that had a perimeter of 24 cm.
I had to figure out what the lengths of each side would be to equal 24 cm. You can use strategies to make the shape equal 24 cm. The strategies are multiplucation,division,adding on,and guess and check. All those strategies are what you can use to make your shape have a perimeter of 24 cm.

Do you like scientist? or you had them in your class? Well today we got a scientist in our class. First of all we all got a center and a group to work with to do the bridge center ,the stability center,the man made and natural structures, and last of all the dome center. Finally we had to build a stablity bridge made out of news paper and see if it can resist an earthquake,a boat to go under it , and 3 heavy books. I loved all of the stuff. What about you?!

Bone and Moon
Me and Moon went to Rachel's swimming. When we got home we waited until every body was asleep then we trotted out of Rachel's room and went to the family room.Moon pounced on the fish tank and nosed open the tank and pulled out the biggest fish.Then we went to Rachel's swimming and I just swam with the fish but it was almost morning so we went home and slept.

Character Qualities Of Squirrel
At the beginning of the book Squirrel is shy because she always followed her brother Bone. Later she is a dog that is brave because she fought the wild dogs even though she was injured and her skull was smashed on the pavement. Squirrel is also caring and we know this because she cares for her friend Moon by hunting for food for her, and she touches her nose to Moon’s nose. We feel that this book is an awesome book! You should read it too!
