A Class Pet

Dear Mrs. Muller,

Could we have a class pet? Here are my wonderful and true reasons why. It would be super educational because we could learn to be responsible, and we could become more caring. Also, the star student could take care of the class pet all day, take it home, take care of it, and bring back to school for the next star student. Next, it would be a dream come true for the people that don't have a pet because it would be almost like having their very own pet. ( I would know because I have never had a pet. Boo-hoo!)  Also, if one of us were having a really bad day, then seeing the pet would cheer them right up! Finally, the class pet would keep us company while we were doing work by ourselfs, and keep smiles on our faces, at the sight of the adorable thing!
