I belive this class have helped me alot. This class have not only helped me with my writing, reading and understanding, but also to be able to reach my goal. What I like the most is that slowly I been able to understand how to communicate better and even to be able to express myself better. I had a great time, I just wish I wouldnt of missed some classes, because being behind for a while, was a bit hard. Thank you very much for all the help and support.

I like doing essays. It can be pretty hard putting all the ideas together, but you can have so much information and learn from it. My most favorite part of doing an essay, is the research part. You can find all the information and read about the specific topic. Also what I like is that you can express your point of view. The main challange that I have writing an essay, is to be able to write and put all the information together to make sence. The introduction of an essay and the conclusion is the easiest. This is when you get to introduce what your essay is going to be about and the conclusion, I like to write my point of view.

It is hard to do any oral presentation, specially when I dont practice or prepared myself for it. I believe that the best thing that I can do for next time, is to give myself more time to prapare and not wait last minute to practice.  Also it is important to take the time to do any research and have enough information. I think having a plan writing and write all my ideas down, can help me. Practicing the presentation a couple of times, can help me not to speak fast and feel so nervous when it comes to public speaking.

In this blog I would like to  talk about how excited I am to be closer to reach this goal. My goal to finish Grade 12. I know I still got lots to do but each day I feel like Im taking a step closer. It's been hard, since I got a full time job and a baby on the way. So is a bit hard for me to concentrate. I got to think positive and that this not only will benifit my future but also my family. I feel very lucky to be able to have time to concentrate on reaching my goal. Im very thankfull for having my family support.  Im not going to lie, sometimes I feel like giving up. But this gives me strenght, reminds me that I can show people wrong and I can do this. I wish I would of appreciated school back in the day and instead of giving up, just kept trying. We all learn from our mistakes and Im glad I got a second chance to invest on my future.

Music is very important to me. Music allows people to express their emotions. Music helps create memories through out the years. I love listening to the music my parents used to listen to, because it brings me memories of my childhood. I believe music is the best medicine in life. There are so many ways you can communicate through music. When you're angry, when you're sad or super happy, music helps you cope with any situation. I know of someone that told me that music helps them not to feel lonely, just blast it, sing and dance. Now a days so many singers are using music to express their feelings about what this world is going through and many are donation their time and talent to help people around the world.

"Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around." - from the movie 'Vanilla Sky'. This is one of the quote that I usually have on my mind. No matter what you're going through, instead of making it worse, lets turn the situation around and no waste another minute. It is hard to let go of some things in life and is hard not to feel ungry, but if you think about it, we got time to make things better. This quote to me is very important specially if your going through a hard time with a family member. Life is too short to waste, thats why I like to be positive.

Prapering for my major assigment was a little bit hard, since I go blank when is time to type. I had great ideas, opinions and enough material to make it into a 3 page assigment. I also remember lot of things that we have learned not only through grade 12 english but also through grade 11. Some issues that I had prapering this assigment was putting my ideas together and grammar. What I did is picked my 2 stories that I liked the most, and read them a couple of times to make sure I was getting the main idea. I also did a little bit of research on the internet looking for backgroud information. I hope I did well.

My good ideas sometimes can turn into problems. When I was young I had gotten a new bike and I had a idea to take my friend and I to this place about 10 blocks away, where I knew there was speed bumps for cars in a parking lot. We would go and do jumps off of them with our bikes. On the way back home my friend and I were riding our bikes through cross walks where the light said for us to stop, when my friend went through one while he was ahead of me there wasn't any cars, but when I saw him go through I didn't check for any cars but when I checked I saw a black car coming right at me. I got hit by the car, I broke my new bike and I had to get stitches on my head. Lesson learned the hard way. I did make some pretty high jumps at that place though!.

I made my assignment into a letter. My assignment was about a lady being kicked off the bus for her child being to loud. I wrote a letter to whom it may consern the bus company or the goverment.  I chose to write a letter because this article felt like it was not fair for the lady on the bus. I chose to make it easy for whom ever read this letter. I wanted to make it clear so that this lady got justices and I made my thoughts and reaction on this letter. I wanted The bus company or goverment to know it's not fair for the lady or anyone who may have a child on the bus.

I had just finished my grade 11 at  River East Transcona School on McLeod Ave. My first impression on this class was yes! I got the same teacher as grade 11!. I do think this school in Transcona is way more small then Mcleods school. I think my classmates are nice.. so far. I think the work we done so far has been very close to what we done in grade 11. I hope for myself to achieve a lot my grades in grade 12 this year. My teacher is cool she's been very helpful in grade 11, so I am happy to have her again. I will come to school when there is class's.  I will make sure I get my home work handed in on time. I will do the best I can to get my grade 12 English.

I did like this class. I think i did better than I what I thought. I wish I would of put I bit of more effort and time. It is a bit difficult since I work full time and is hard to finish some of the homework. I know I have lots of thing to improve like my writing. For me is hard to put my thoughts into writing. This have been the most challanging part for me.  The teacher was helpfull, understanding and made class fun. Thank you for the time. Hope I can finish my grade 12! This is my number one goal!!!

My topic is about culture in Venezuela, I looked on 4 different web sites one being Wikipedia. My research project took me about a week to finish, I changed my culture project last minute because it was taking me to long with what I choose befor, plus I had a good idea for what I wanted to change it to, I choose Venezuela spanish culture, plus I took my vaction this summer and I travelled to Venezuela so I had some experience of being around the culture, plus my wife is spanish which had some good advantages.

My essay plaining went better then I thought it would, I wrote it on a computer so I printed it up on 5 pages its complete now I had to change some things near the end but it should be better soon for when I hand it in.

Cultures can relate in relationships in so many different ways because they are all over place. For example Canada has tons of different cultures, they can be a kung fu team. Their are team mates that become a family its kind of a culture because they treat eachother with a lot of respect, culture of races come together in church and become friends. There is tons of relating relationships in cultures.

I will do my best to get my other work handed in befor the exams. I still got more blogs to do and comments, some assignments too. I will do my best on this upcoming big assignment . For the exams I will reflect on my old work and I will study a lot. I hope things go well for me these last days of the semester. These are my plans for the end of this course. I hope I get good marks and pass. :)

My final product procuted that I created  was " Advertising Issues " ( Sexuality in ads) The form that I use for this assignment is an article. My target audience was any gender, parents, teachers and even young audience. The purpose of the text is to understand and to know the pros. and cons, on using sexuality to get consumers and to sell a product. The main idea that i was trying to communicate is that there is no need to use sexuality to sell a product. But believe it or not, this will attract the attention of costumers. I chose to create a articte because I Believe I can express myself better also share ideas from other sources. The languague I chose was simple so audiences of any age can read and understand and also I shared some ideas from other sources documents

Music is my life, I can't live without it. Everyday I look on the Internet for new songs by artists I like and upcoming new artists that might be of interest to me. My favorite music is R&B old and new. I like all different kinds of music as long as it sounds good to me and with good lyrics too, I have been really into music since I can remember, my parents use to listen to music everyday, especially when cleaning the house, they would be listeing to rock music or country and it would be playing very loud too. Micheal Jackson also made me want to dance so without him I don't think I would know how to dance today. I only like dancing to hip hop music and latin music.

I belive discussion is very important in life. Because with family you will discuss many different things, or when you go to work you might have a meeting and need to discuss work issues and other complications about your work place. You might have a job interview and need to discuss a lot of things about you. But I do think it's good practice to have discussions in class even though we all seem to be shy or just don't know what to say or maybe just don't want to talk at all.

I think there is a underrepresentation of visible minorities and aboriginal people, they should show them more in tv shows, movies and tv ad's. If they did show them more and it would show the younger audience to have a good role model and that they too when they get older can have a goal, to become somebody maybe even a model or actor. Consequences would be a good for this to happen to the audience's that are watching.

The media is reaching out for all ages and its never going to change I think..we will see in the future. Some ad's are good, like fitness ad's can help you stay in shape. Like you will see a bigger person and then what they look like after they work out for a while. When I see these ad's they do appeal to me, in some way depending on what kind of ad it is. If it is a work out ad I will push myself to a goal to see if I can do what they are saying. When they is other ad's for smoking cigarettes, I think its horrible because it draws you and younger people to smoke cigarettes. I think advertising is ok sometimes but not always, I think it can show different peoples styles of clothing, on how they appeal to different advertising and it does show there personality in some way, on how they dress, what kind of music they into, if they wear West 49 clothes people are more to listen punk rock, then to if you see them shop at Footlocker they like more Hip Hop, Pop.

 I treated this assignment different because I had to choose quote that I could use. I read over the quotes we had in class and it took me while to choose one but I picked one that I could relate to in some way.

I had to think more and put thought into this assigment. I thought this assignment was a little more hard, because I had to go back and reflect on the other storys we read. I think if i did have more time it could of been better. If assigment wasn't a qoute I had to use. It would have been more easy for me. But I am satisfied with what i have.

I think if the Internet disappeared it would be the end of the would for some people. Because people are dependent on the Internet now a days. Because theres more people in the would who spend too much time on the Internet then they should, you whould probably see more kids outside with imagination instead of watching videos or playing video games online. People have jobs based on the Net like Web Disign, a lot of ad's wouldn't be seen if the Net disappeared probably more tv commericials would be shown. 

I would wonder how it disappeared. I would'nt care very much. I think would spend more time with family and friends in person then on the Internet. We could do real life activities instead of online. I would miss it forsure though.
