Fourth Grade
Fourth Grade with Mr. LaMarr
Mr. LaMarr is the best teacher in the world in my opinion. We read some books such as By the Great Horn Spoon, The Cay, Number the Stars, and The Phantom Tollbooth. We recently went to Westminster Woods and had a lot of fun there. The naturalist, our guides, were great. There was a huge cargo net that a lot of people went on and played with Mr. LaMarr. There were hikes that went up a peak. There were all kinds of trees and redwoods there. In social studies we learn about a lot of cool stuff such as Japanese Internment, the Gold Rush, the building of the Transcontinental Railroad, and much more. Mr. LaMarr has a great sense of humor and comes up with very funny jokes. Every day I get up out of my bed happy because I have school that day with my awesome teacher. The math we learn is a year above our grade level! It is hard but sometimes a lot of fun to learn. The year is ending, and I will really miss Mr. LaMarr.
