 Hopes & Dreams… My goal is to expand my vocabulary. I will do this by looking up a word in the dictionary, and if that’s unclear then ask a person. And then use that word in a sentence at least twice. I hope to learn about Europe. I will do this by studying its history. My hope and dream is to learn more advanced math, pre-algebra, and more about cube and square roots. I will do this by asking an adult to help me, and then using their advice. I hope to learn more about diseases and how people get them. I will do this by studying them on the computer and checking books out on them from the library. I wish to learn about history, and people’s ancestors. I will do this by reading historic fiction and books that make learning about history fun. I hope to read at least fifty books by the end of the school year. I will accomplish this by keeping a list and reading a lot. I hope to make new friends. I will do this by being friendly to everybody. I wish to learn about exotic animals. I will do this by reading books about them and learning about them on the computer. My goal is to learn about historic kings and their decisions. I will accomplish this by searching them on the computer. I wish to be in a play this year. I will do this by signing up.
