 Comets! Have you ever thought about comets? First, I’m going to tell you the parts of a comet. It first starts off with ice and then it turns to gas. That forms the coma(the head of the comet) and it has sort of a haze. The dust-ions make the tail. We can see comets because the gas from the tail releases energy absorbed from the sun, and that causes it to glow. So, when it glows from earth it looks like a star with a haze around it. Sometimes you can see it move, other times you can’t. One last thing, some astronomers think that comets brought earth water and stuff to help living things. Well, now you know about comets!
