I think that Phooney will catch them, to make this story more suspensful.  The author has made this story suspensful throughout the story so far, so I presume that the author will make it more suspensful, because the author wouldn't have made the story suspensful just to make it not supensful.  I'm using the word suspensful a lot, aren't I?  By Phooney catching them, it would make the story more suspensful.  But, because the trio of humans are main characters, I do think that they will find a way to escape.  They escaped from the Skreepish ship, so why can't they escape from Phooney?
