Dear Freshmen
Hello new freshmen be prepared for the beginning of your high school career. Your experiences will be good if you apply what you will learn and know. This experience will be new and possibly scary if you don’t look at it positively. I am writing to you to give you advice on how to do your best in this new experience of being a Freshman.
Being a Freshman can be a hard challenge if you don’t apply yourself you have to use all the skills you know and all the ones you will learn from the wonderful ninth grade teachers. The biggest skills you will have to use to be able to be successful are and open mind. You will learn many things so you will have to except them even if you are not use to them. For example DGP with Miss. Transue you will have different marks and new concepts when diagramming sentences. You will have to have good note taking skills as well especially for Mr. Woolcock the chemistry concepts can be hard. Mr. Woolcock lets you take these notes and use them during test so it will be in your best interest to take advantage of them.
Also being a Freshman is new fun and exciting. you will have opportunities you never had before like the peprallys. They are a lot of fun they allow you to get away for 1 or 2 class periods. They also have games like move the mountain where they pit grades versus each other. You also have a new and improved field day with bouncy house boxing and so much more.
Finally make sure to have fun and look at it with a positive attitude. Most of all make your Freshman year the best because Miss transue thinks Freshman are the best. Lastly remember it may seem hard but you will get through it easily if you work hard, apply yourself, and take notes.
Good luck

this song makes a great reference to romeo and juliet the lyrics say.
Romeo loved Juliet
Juliet she felt the same
When he put his arms around her
He said, "Julie baby you're my flame"
Thou givest fever when we kisseth
Fever with thy flaming youth
Fever I'm on fire
Fever yea I burn forsooth
This song is about love and how firry and hot it can be.It says how many people fall in love are consumed by its burning fire of passion. It also represents the way love makes the mind fevered. Fevered means that is all consuming and takes over your life.
This song is music to thy ears it speaks of Romeo and Juliet a couple famous for more than 400 years. The play showed love now portrayed in song through through allusion. Every few lines has many meanings all depending on how you think. The song is about love and how powerful it can be. The allusion shows love in deeper meaning not necessary to the song. The accuracy is also correct for the allusion to be used properly and in the best way possible.
The allusion in this song is representing Romeo’s and Juliet’s love. The line "Julie baby you're my flame" shows that they love each other with a burning passion but also flame shows life and if Juliet’s goes out he will not have a life worth living. Secondly the line "Thou givest fever when we kisseth" show how much they loved each other and that when they kiss it was All consuming and gave them love from there on. This refers to the party when they first kissed because it is when they fell in love.
IN conclusion this allusion is correct because they do end up killing them self’s because they think each other is dead, and when they met they were instantly in love when they kissed. This song also states how they would be all consumed by their love and they were because when one was thought to be dead they killed them self’s. their love was strong so strong that if they lost the other they would die from their own hand.

Historicism
I have a cycle of books that would be a great endeavor for people that use historicism. The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paloni incorporates fantasy with actual information on medieval punishments, military tactics, armor, and sword making taken from how the medieval countries would produce them for their soldiers.
In the third book of the inheritance cycle a guy named Roran( Eragon’s Brother) disobeys his captain’s orders and takes 50 lashes. The other option was to take 30 lashes and leave the military. The very last punishment is one used more often than not is to be hung. The hanging was the most used method for this type of punishment at the time to instill fear in the ranks and make them listen.
Secondly, the armor making is described in these books on a few occasions. The instructions put in these books were used by Britain when sword and shields were used. It would describe taking the mail armor and how it was made ring by ring. It also explained if you did not link the metal fast enough you would have to reheat the metal.
Then comes the sword making. In this book it tells you about the Japanese art of sword making. Swords made in this fashion were extremely valuable and took 24 hours of work to create it strong and durable. These swords were only given to high ranking officers. The swords were given to people in ceremonies of great importance.
In conclusion the Inheritance Cycle is a fantasy book series with actual historical knowledge on the making of armor and swords and battle tactics that were used and have been used, and the punishments used in medieval times.

Winter cold or frigid? Winter is the most appalling occasion of the year. The winter sends chills to your bones and causes distress with its winter mess, and the days that are too diminutive to enjoy. I just want winter over with and for spring to come in.
Winter a terrible thing that I wish was gone. During this winter we have had lots of cold weather which I loathe. We have had little snow lately, but when we did get some snow it was a very irritable task cleaning up the left over mess. I want spring to come so that we can have normal temperature that is not to hot and not to cold. In the winter the days are too short to enjoy to the full measure of them. The sun does not come out till right before I leave my house to go to school. Then by time I get home at three forty the sun is about to go down at five O'clock.
This winter has been one of the better ones though for the reason that we have had small amounts of snow. Then we have also had a few days when the temperature was not to frigid. Like January thirtieth we had sixty five degree weather at my house. The good news of this winter is that the time the sun is up is increasing every day meaning we are getting even closer to spring. When spring comes winter will be gone and temperature will increase.
Winter is so cold and frigid and needs to go away. The winter is cold and causes you to have Goosebumps. Winter also leaves behind a mess. Winter has causes some people much distress. This winter has not been so bad but still unlikeable.

Are you Good or Evil
Good Vs Evil in an epic showdown of the century! In the book Something Wicked This Way Comes the theme is good always triumph over evil. The story shows this in three major ways, and it all starts with the Dust Witch getting a dusting by Charles then to Mr. Dark getting hugged to death, and lastly with Jim having the lively hood danced into him.
The Dusts Witch a pure evil carnival freak with yellow teeth that has a weakness of happiness and love. Charles kills the Dust Witch by using the cheerfulness in his life and a humorous smile. He draws a smile which the witch thought was a crescent moon. When Charles shots the wax bullet the witch breaths in and chokes on the bullet with the smile on it when she sucks in air. Some people may say that there is no confirmation of her actually choking on the bullet because they don’t confirm it, but the story says “When I fired the shot did she suck the other bullet down her throat? Did she… choke on my smile! Oh, Christ!” (Bradbury 251) So this proves that she did choke because she did not even have a bullet hole in her as Mr. Dark said.
The villainous Mr. Dark Once thought to be able to live eternally with his magical marry go round. Mr. Dark rides on the merry go round backwards and becomes a child. Charles finds Mr. Dark as a child and literally loves him to death. Charles hugs him in an embrace that was full of love. Some people say that the hug would not have love in it because they are enemies, but the book says it was almost lovingly so Charles was putting feeling into it. The book says “You can’t hurt me! The boy shrieked. Funny, said Charles Halloway. I think I can.” “Cant … This...” (Bradbury 272-273) These were the last words Mr. Dark ever said.
The last time in the story when good triumphs over evil is when Jim has the life danced into him. Jim went on the merry go round because he has a slight evil side to him. Will try’s to get Jim of the merry go round. Jim dies and the story say’s “ Dead …? … I don’t feel…” (Bradbury 270) This is they proved Jim was dead. Then latter Mr. Halloway say’s “ Jump around! Whoop and holler! You hear! Shout, sing, but most of all laugh.”(Bradbury 281) Then soon after Jim comes back to life after they dance, sing, holler, laugh, and Mr. Halloway plays the harmonica. Some people say that Jim is not dead just unconscious but even in the story it says he is dead as shown in the first citation in this paragraph.
The epic showdown is over and good has won. The dust witch is blown away, and Mr. Dark was Hugged dead, and lastly Will and Charles do a lively dance to bring back the deceased. Good always triumphs over evil and this book has publicized it time and time again.
