Well i enjoy to read story's in the newspaper when i do get one or i enjoy reading sport's magazines. Also if i don't have the newspaper if i am bored i like to go on TSN.ca or WinnipegSun.com on my phone to read some of the colums or articles they have. I enjoy that. And if it has anything to do with sports or other things i have interest in i am stuck to the words and can't stop reading. So if you want to get into reading then you need to read something that interest's you and it's fun, you learn lot's

One skill i want to continue practicing would be thinking about the way i use my language and put my words together so they make more sense and tell a good story. In person and on paper. I feel like i need to organize that a little more. Because i start to write something out on a peice of paper and then all of a sudden i re read it to myself i can see many flaws. But when i am writing it, it seems fine to me. This could be improved by reading more i believe.

When i finally got to doing it i thought i approached it good, i conducted my essay with answering the questiong and then connecting it with 2 of the texts that we have read which was "Robbie" and "The Nest" that i felt connected quote. Then also my views. And it was also hard writing 2 whole pages because you had to explain but not over explain the question. so in a way it was hard to stretch out what i was trying to explain. I think i could improve by reading all the story's over again to get a better understanding and to see if another part of the story was better.

Well to start off i have never been strong in english just for the fact i guess i don't have a lot of interest in writing and doing essay's. Though this has been a fun course and i am glad i'm back and completing this course. I liked the assignements we got and had fun learning about all the different subjects like the media stuff. The only thing i hated about this course was the fact that i had to write but what are you going to do right. I thing i have gained from this course was learning proper language again and knowing a little more of how to present my text or story. The only thing i wish i would have done more of was spending more time on work and not leaving it until the last second because i found out that it takes a lot of time to do research and to break down all your notes to make it easier to conduct your essay. it has been a while since i have taken an english class so this was a good start and im hopeing next year i can take all the positives of this year and help me out with next semester. Also i just realised i didn't do blog number 1 so i can't answer the last question. :p Thanks for a fun year!

Something unemportant and ridiculous that makes me happy is playing video games which doesn't help me at all though i still enjoy playing them. Sometimes i will go home and just wanna play some Tiger Wood's Golf  or NHL12 because i'm more of a sports guy. Playing NHL 12 and being a GM so i can run my own team. And i just want to get better. I like going out and doing things with friends but sometime's we will just all stay home and game it. so awesome.

i think that the advertising and marketing that these company's put out there for their product do change the way we might think about their product. They try and target a certain audience and this seems to be working. Another big way to attract people to their product is by having musicians or movie stars that are either very well known by most people or the up and coming star that has taken over the airwaves. And a lot of these commercials don't tell you much about the product itself but they put it in a setting that feels good and people are having fun with their product. Example, the Winnipeg Jets came back this past year and Budweiser introduced a line of beer "Fan Brew" that redesigned the case and the can to have the Winnipeg Jets logo with the team colors. Targeting fan's and beer drinkers. I thought this was such a great idea, for Budweiser on a selling standpoint was brilliant and for the buyers to celebrate the return of their team. Not only did they just throw their beer into a redesigned can but they also took water from Winnipeg and transported it to Edmonton where the beer was brewed. They even gave you the can as a souvenir!

It would become really hard to be without internet, we are so used to having internet and communicating with people that way. Though i'm sure people could adjust. I have had some periods without internet in my life. It does take a couple of days to get through it, but after that you really don't think about it. And when you do have the chance to use the interenet again i find it takes some time to get back into it. And i believe we are to dependent on the internet for our information and social interactivity. It is taking us away from communicating with the people around us. I think we are also more dependent on the internet to talk about things then to talk about them in person. We should have an even balance in internet social commication and in person communication.
