Easter Fun

Article posted April 9, 2012 at 01:54 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 165

On Easter I went downstairs to find my Easter basket. It turns out that the Easter bunny hid our Easter baskets so we had to find them. Mine was hidden in the pantry between two cearel boxes. Then we went church for our Easter service. From there we went to an Easter brunch with my grandma and grandpa, aunt and uncle, mom and dad, my sister and brother, and my cousins. From there we went to my grandmas house and had a Easter egg hunt and found more Easter baskets from both my grandparents and my aunt and uncle. Then I went back home and went to sleep. I had a very fun Easter. Did you?

Albert Einstein

Article posted February 13, 2012 at 02:49 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 108

My class has to read a biography. I chose Albert Einstein. Here are some facts about him.

Albert Einstein is a biography book about a young boy who is very smart. After reading this book I learned many new and interesting things. Albert was born in Ulm, Germany, March 14, 1879.The most important thing to know about Albert Einstein is that he was very smart and he helped the scientists with the television. This is important because if he wasn’t so smart we wouldn’t have the many things we have today. I also learned that Albert Einstein played the violin and piano. He got interested in it when he found out it had to do with Mathematics. Furthermore I learned that he married Milera Marie and Elsa Einstein. The most amazing thing I learned, though, was that Albert Einstein statue was carved into the church archway at New York City because he was one of the most famous scientists. Finally Albert died April 18 1955 (aged 75) , Princeton, New JerseyU.S.

I hope you learned a lot about Albert Einstein!

Poconos

Article posted December 5, 2011 at 02:47 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 127

I went up to the Poconos with my cousins.

They are really crazy. We made gingerbread houses but they destroyed theirs.    We also played ping pong but I stink at it.

On the way home we got our Christmas tree. I named it Otis because he was odd looking.

Then we decarated him and put the Christmas lights outside on the bushes. We also put a white reindeer up. It was so fun!

I found out that I have cross bite so had to get rubber bands to put them in my mouth. It didn't hurt but the only thing that did was when they squirted water in the back of my mouth and my throat andd I choked and gagged.  But it turned out ok.

scarecrows

Article posted November 8, 2011 at 10:48 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 96

Seeing the scarecrows was awesome! I went with my grandma and my little sister. First when we got there we saw lots of different stores because the scarecrow festival is at Peddlers Village. I saw lots of different scarcrows like Bethony Hamilton, Sea Wanda, Mary Poppins, and Spongebob Squarepants. We wanted to eat lunch so we asked a few ladies if they knew where a restraunt was that we could eat at. We looked and looked but we could not find it. So we decided to go to chick- fil -A. I got chicken and waffle fries. Then we went to an icecream store and I got vanilla icecream and my little sister got cotton candy icecream. My grandma got peanut butter icecream. My little sister did not want the icecream so I ate it. It was good! Next time I want to see the scarecrows again!

halloween festival

Article posted November 7, 2011 at 03:03 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 119

Last weekend i went to a Halloween festival. My grandparents took me there with my little sister. I was staying up at the Pocono mountain house that we went to. We brought our winter hats to collect the candy that they give out. When we got there in the beginning we decided to go look at the trunk or treat festival and collect some candy. Trunk or treat is when you decorate your cars trunk and put out a bowl of candy for people to take. You also put out a bin where people put tickets in and if you get the most tickets out of all the cars then you win a prize. I don't know what the prize is though. We voted for a convertible with Halloween characters sitting in the front seat. The rest of the car was decorated with spooky Halloween things. Then we decided to go and play  a game. We played a balloon game and then went to the haunted hayride. It was not scary that time because it was light. You are really supposed to go on the haunted  hayride that is really haunted at night. The friendly one is at daytime for little girls and boys. It was not scary at all. Then we ate dinner. It was dark out at the time so me and my grandpa decided to go on the scary hayride while my grandma took my sister home. On the hayride people would pop out and scare you half to death. It was awesome! Happy Halloween!

thoughts on homework

Article posted October 17, 2011 at 03:15 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 133

Homework is fun! We should have homework over the weekend too!Homework can refresh your memory of what you have learned. But I also think there is a little too much homework too.  I think homework should stay but I dont think we should have spelling homework. There really is no point in it. But math and stuff is very important and I think its very important that you learn from your homework and not just do it to get it over with. teachers probaly work very hard to help! do you like Homework?
