My class went to D.P Todd and watched the band play their instruments. My favourite instrument was definitely the Alto Sax because it has a really nice sound and it doesn't look to hard too play. How do they play those songs? They look so hard! When they started playing it made me want to play band even more because they sounded amazing. I cant wait until band next year!

Hockey is my life, I play it, dream it, watch it and talk about it. My favourite part is going on tournaments, they are fun, exciting and hard to win but I always try my hardest. I am a defencemen that means it is my job to protect the goaltender and it is harder to score when you are on the blue line but I still manage to score sometimes. The forwards job is to score and have a hard fore check but it is harder to save the goaltender, sometimes they manage to back check and get the puck. Last but not least the goaltenders job is to save the puck, nothing more. Hockey is my life!!!

Canucks at Avalanche

Tonight Canucks versed Avalanche. The first goal started early when Gabriel Landeskog got a goal for Avalanche. In the second perod Avalanche got another when Jamie McGinn scored. But then the Canucks strike back when Raymond scores a nice one in front of the net! Then Chris Higgins scores another for Canucks! No more after that so it went to overtime. In overtime Jannik Hansen sends a nice pass to Chris Higgins, he rips it into the net!! Canucks win 3 to 2 in overtime!! Three stars for the night were Chris Higgins as first star, Jamie McGinn second star and Gabriel Landeskog, third.

I went to Tabor Hill on March 15th. It was so fun, except for all of the ice! I took jumps, went down steep,bumpy and smooth hills. I skied with my brother Landon, his friend Linden, Nick, Derek and Luke when he was done his lessons. My favourite hill was Bear Ally or Track. But this time Track wasn't open so Bear Ally was my favourite. Luke and I went on the run called Old Grampa, man was that fun! Luke and I also went on Bear ally, Face and Easy Rider.

Northern Gateway Pipeline

The Northern Gateway Pipelines are two twin pipelines that go from Alberta to B.C and from B.C to Alberta. They carry fuel, such as oil and natural gas. I am against the pipelines because it polutes the forests, waters and the oceans and it destroys habitats. Hundreds of animals from spirit bears to wolves will die if the pipes crack open! I realize the pipelines will provide employment for thousands of people but is it realy worth putting these animals at risk? In my eyes it is not! If the boat that is carrying the fuel tipped or crashed millions of fish and other sea animals will die. This is preventable if the pipelines doesn't happen. Look what logging has done to our forests, do we want to jeopardize them even more!!
