Today my class walked to D.P todd and went into the band room and the grade 9 band was in there with Mr.hanigan. Then they played songs on there instruments I really liked the clarinet and the saxophone I might play one of them in band next year.

To help on earth day I can turn off all my lights that i'm not using. Because people use to much energy and they don't even need it . I can also bike around more instead of driving. Because too many people drive and it pollutes the air and wrecks the earth.

On Thursday and Friday I went on a skiing trip with my class. I had lots of fun I went down three tracks they were called Bear Alley, Mambo and Easy Rider. When I got hungry I went into the lodge and got a hot dog and a pop and hang out with my friends. When it was was time to go back to school I almost fell asleep. So when I got home all I did was sit on my couch and watch TV.

The northern gateway pipeline is huge twin pipelines that brings crude oil from Buderhiem AB to Kitamat BC and sends the oil on big oil tankers to take it Asian countries like China. I am against the northern gateway pipeline because it will wreck the forests that it goes though because they have to dig in the ground and cut down the trees. Plus the pollution from all the vehicles will destroy the environment. What if the pipeline cracks and all the oil spills and leaks into lakes and rivers and starts killing the animals. What if a oil tanker flips over and them all the oil spills into the ocean then tons of fish will die.

If I was a monkey I would swing from tree to tree when the wind blows in
my hair as I feel the rough vines on my hands. I would also hang up side down on my tail and swing side to side. I wonder what it would be like to have
a tail? then I would sit on a huge banana tree and eat bananas
all day and I would share some bananas with the other
monkeys. I would climb to the top of the tallest tree and
look around the jungle. I would also throw banana peels
on the ground and watch the other monkeys slip on the
banana peels and fall down.

My Diet
I wrote down every thing I ate for three days and I learned that I am eating a lot less then I'm supposed to on every thing. Right now I am eating
1-2 dairy, 1 meats and protein, 4-1 fruits and vegetables and 3 grains. I would like to eat more dairy because I am still growing so I need more dairy. I could get more dairy in my diet by having a glass of milk after school.

Dear Mrs. Sawatsky,
I would like to get new, larger desks at school because there old and scratched up. Sometimes the chairs fall apart they are also uncomfortable and they crack sometimes. We can get help from P.A.C to pay for the chairs and desks. Some teachers will not want to get new chairs and desks because it might affect their funding for other things, but we could say to them that it would be more comfortable and cleaner to get new chairs and desks. In my opinion this is something that is needed sooner than later.

I made a name tag.
I tried to get a 100 dollars.
I learned dividing.
I read all five Diary of a Wimpy kid books.
I thought I would read all my books.
I wondered if I would join basketball.
In 2012
I might join soccer.
I will do my chore.
I won't go to bed at 11:00pm.
I want to play basketball.

I think this is going to be a good year.

This Christmas vacation I played on my Xbox 360 for most of my vacation. I played on lots of games one of the games was sky rim. Sky rim is a awesome game my brother bought the game at the mall. He got the third last one. On Christmas when I opened my presents awesome stuff like a remote control car. My favorite gift was an I Pod Touch I like my I Pod so much. At the end of vacation I went ice skating with my cousins.

This is what we learned about energy drinks.We learned that when you have a energy drink later in the day you will have a energy crash.We also learned that it has four times the caffeine then a large cup of coffee.Energy drinks are very bad for you and can even kill you.

I love when its winter because I love making snowmen and I love it when I get hot chocolate and play in the snow.These are what activities I like to do in the winter.I like to have snow ball fights and I like jumping face first into the snow.My favorite thing in winter is when I play with my dog Boomer in my back yard and he sometimes slides down the slide with me.

Written form
written form is when you take the number and write it in words here is an example if the number is 12,753: twelve thousand seven hundred fifty-three
Front end estimation
front end estimation is when you take the front of the number and put zeros on the rest of the number here is an example if the number is 4,708,143: 4,708,143=4,000,000
there is another way tho front end estimate if you want the estimation to be more exact you can take the first two numbers here is an example if the number is 2,879: 2,879=2,800

On Friday I went on a field trip we went to the Aquatic Center. We walked there I walked with Evan on the way there. when me got there Evan wasn't swimming so I went in the pool and then I went over to the diving boards. I went on the small diving board and Mr. Schade went on the small diving board too he did a front flip and failed. Then I went on the diving board and did a front flip and did a way better front flip then Mr. Schade. Then I went in the river and played with Ethan, Riley and Aiden then it was time to go and I walked with Darren back to school.

This is what knowledge and skills I have learned in D.A.R.E. In D.A.R.E I learned what drugs can do to your body and there are many ways to say no to drugs. Marijuana, tobacco and alcohol all are very bad for your body and they contain poisons, chemicals and tar.Here are ways to say no to drugs: Use humor example: q. Do you want some alcohol? a. No I need all my brain cells. Saying no example:

One Friday at 7:30 pm after dinner Luke went to sleep. The next morning when Luke woke up he was on Mars. He looked around for a while and then he noticed two green people walking toward him then they said if you give us pie we will bring you back to Earth. Then Luke gave them his pie but then the aliens ran away and left Luke in the middle of no where. He walked around and he found some other aliens and they gave Luke a key then the aliens walked away. Luke wondered what the key opens he put it in his pocket then he walked around. He found some fuel he picked it up and took it with him then he found house in the middle of no where there was a lock on the door of the house Luke tried to open the door but it was locked. He wandered how to open the door but then Luke remembered the key the aliens gave him he tried to open the door with the key and it worked. Luke slowly and quietly walked in to the house he looked around and he saw another key then Luke looked behind the house. He found a car he found out that the key he found in the house was for the car he tried to start the car but it was out of fuel. Luke used the fuel he found and he started the car when Luke was driving he noticed a space ship Luke walked to the space ship he looked inside no one was in the space ship. Luke went inside the space ship and flew back to Earth and crashed in to the school but Luke was fine and there was no school forever.

I wonder how the boy felt playing in front of the commandant? If I was the boy I would feel bad if I had to play for the commandant. Because you would get bread for playing for the commandant and the other prisoners would starve to death.
I wonder how the kid felt when the soldiers found him? If I was the boy and the soldiers found me I would be really scared that the soldiers would kill me.

Remembrance Day is a time to remember. Remembrance Day is on November 11 and it is a holiday. People wear poppy's to remember the veterans. The soldiers went to war so our country would be free and many of the soldiers lost there lives. On the 11 month of the 11 day of the 11 hour we remember the fallen soldiers.

If I were teacher for a day I would teach math and art as much as I can. I would take my class outside most of the day. I would teach all my lessons outside and we will play kick ball for gym. I would let my class do what ever they want to do after we finish all their work. They have to stay home on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday then you get $10 every day that they come to school and you never get homework and we have field trips every day and we would go around the world.
