Title: Cause and Effect...Skreep Style (11/10/11)
Description: Casue and effect is a wonderful tool that authors use to bring about consequences. It is the way that events get 'rolling' in a book.

The question for his week is: Which event brought about the predicament that the human beings are in on the ship? Uncle Bud inventing the "machine'? Xaafuun wanting to become famous? The Queen's desire to want to take over over planets and take their resources?

Your assignment is to choose one of the above causes and then to provide two specific details to support your answer. Remember, when providing details it is better to paraphrase what happened in the book.

Hi Guys!  My answer is 'Uncle Bud inventing the "machine' ".  It's because if Uncle Bud hadn't created the machine, the aliens wouldn't be after the people on the ship.  My reason for believing that is because the aliens didn't go after The General or Jack's Mom, they weren't with the special item.  i'm not blaming Uncle Bud for making the contraption, how was he supposed to know that aliens would be after his machine?  I think that he made it so that he could use it to get to his brother, Jack's dad, who I think is the one human on "Skreepia".  I gotta go feed Wibur his afternoon snack now, so bye!
