Why Jack and Isadora can Communicate with Pongo and be Able to Move I think they can because THEY WILL BE ABLE TO SAVE EVERYONE...

Detail 1:...because Isadora has the smarticals, and Jack has the mechanicals. They'll work together. Jack will fix the ship, and Isadora will find a way to get out of there!

Detail 2:...because Pongo is telling them good information they need to know to be able to escape without getting trapped in the space storm again, although they're in the eyes of the storm.

So, that's what I think. I may not be telling my most thoughtful information, but that's what I got.
