Geomandatry; A Geometry Blog by Amanda

This blog is for Miss Jovanovich's algebra and geometry classes to share ideas, ask questions, and reflect on what skills and topics we are studying. If we are lucky, we might even get a chance to connect with other students studying the same stuff.

Finals Everyone's favorite time of year has finally come: finals week. All I can say is AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH FINALS!!! To be completely honest I'm absolutely terrified for what's going to happen this week and I have all the reason to be. My classes are WAY harder than last year, and I'm doubling up on math courses so that's going to be a field day all by itself. My finals schedule goes a little like this. Algebra and AP English the first day, French and Gym the next, then American Studies and Art, and then my two hardest classes, Biology and Geometry. The good thing in this pile of bad news is that my finals week starts Wednesday. So I will have an extra weekend to study for my two hardest finals. Thank. God. Ms. J asked us to pick our favorite test question from this past semester and I think for me it had to be the question about Pac Man on our last test. We had to find the shaded area of Pac Man. My approach was finding the whole of the circle, then finding the sector not shaded, and subtracting the sector from the whole. It's a lot of plugging in and playing with numbers. My favorite. Well I guess I should start studying now. Talk to you all later!
