Geomandatry; A Geometry Blog by Amanda

This blog is for Miss Jovanovich's algebra and geometry classes to share ideas, ask questions, and reflect on what skills and topics we are studying. If we are lucky, we might even get a chance to connect with other students studying the same stuff.

blog block Hi Everyone!
It has been awhile since I have blogged, and that's for many reasons. One because the site was down, and two because my computer kept throwing error messages every time I would try to blog. But thankfully today it's working. The year is finally wrapping up, and in the past few weeks we have learned a few things, things like SOH CAH TOA and many other things that have to do with triangle trig. SOH CAH TOA are three abbreviations for remembering sine opposite over hypotenuse, cosine adjacent over hypotenuse, and tangent opposite over adjacent. These three tools can help you when trying to find areas of triangles, and many other things. Other things we have learned are the laws of cosines and sines. I really like these because they're formulas, and really easy to remember, and a lot like algebra. Algebra and I are friends, geometry and I are just acquaintances. Well talk to you all later!
