 Christmas Break in a Nutshell Hi all! I honestly cannot believe that break went by so fast. Must of been the distraction between working all week and the fact that my mom found her way to Mass General Hospital the Tuesday after Christmas. Not to worry though, just a bad case of pancreatitus, and she is supposed to come home today. Today is also special because it's my birthday! I haven't seen my mom in a bout a week so I'm beyond excited to see her. It was kind of hard to between me working and her being three hours south of me. Not to mention the fact that my sister and I were stranded at our ski condo, car-less, and parental guardian-less. But she's a responsible nineteen year old so we were both alright, and the week turned out to be pretty great. My week's schedule went like this; wake up at 7:30am, out the ski condo door by 8, work from 9-11, free skiing and snowboarding from 11-8, and hanging out with my fantastic group of friends until ten. And I'd wake up and start all over again. I am a ski instructor, and the highlight of my week had to be when I walked into the lodge at my work, and four other coaches told me to go see one of my kids David a.s.a.p. He wasn't in my group that day, but proceeded to have a full on freak-out tantrum. I guess he kept asking for me over and over and when I finally found him I picked him up and asked David what's wrong? He wouldn't answer me for a bit, so I held him and calmed him down, but finally in his cutest three year old voice he looked at me and said "Manda there was nothing wrong, I just missed you a lot." That had to be the sweetest thing I heard all break. I hope everyone's vacations were as awesome as mine, and I'd love to hear all about it in my comments.
