Emma's Extravagant Blog

This blog is for Miss Jovanovich's algebra and geometry classes to share ideas, ask questions, and reflect on what skills and topics we are studying. If we are lucky, we might even get a chance to connect with other students studying the same stuff.

Back from Break Hello everyone! Unfortunately, this week marks the end of vacation and our first week back in school. Even though I’m happy to see my friends again, I am sad to see that vacation is over, especially since it went by so fast. However, we are back in school and should face each day and welcome all challenges that our sent our way (that rhymes!). One of the challenges that has been sent our way is the lines of triangles poster project. We were each given a line and have to draw triangles including that line, concurrent points, write about special characteristics etc. I am very confident about this project because I feel that we all a solid foundation of knowledge when it comes to these lines (median, altitude, perpendicular bisector, angle bisector). I am excited to present my end-product because it has helped me to expand my knowledge even more. One other thing that I am excited for is a possible snow day tomorrow. Since we’ve only had one this year, I am really hoping that we get the 5:30 call telling us to sleep in, drink hot chocolate, and sled all day.
