 Weekly Blog 6- My favorite problem We recently finished our unit all about angle theorems and postulates, proofs, and polygons. Throughout the course of this unit we have completed many problems in class and for homework. My personal favorite one involved polygons and we did it for homework. It gave us the sum of the interior angles of a polygon, and then we had to find the number of sides the polygon had. The sum of the interior angles for this problem was 1080 degrees. I particularly enjoyed this one because it allowed me to think of the equation that needed to be used, and apply it to geometry. I had to reverse the equation that finds the sum of the interior angles, 180(n-2), in order to find the answer which was 8 sides, or an octagon!
