building with geometry!
Hello everybody! This weekend I went to NYC on a trip with my church. We stayed in the world's largest Gothic cathedral, St John the Divine. Our tour guide told us how the builders of the cathedral had to think about every little detail. The cathedral is 124 feet wide, 124 feet tall, and 601 feet long. All those numbers add up to 7. I was so surprised how much math and geometry was incorporated in the building of the cathedral. It is very cool when you think about it.
Come back next week for my next weekly blog!
