Sara's Blog

This blog is for Miss Jovanovich's algebra and geometry classes to share ideas, ask questions, and reflect on what skills and topics we are studying. If we are lucky, we might even get a chance to connect with other students studying the same stuff.

Looking Ahead I have no started thinking about semester exams until the other day when we were talking about it in math. It really hit me about how serious you have to take these test because they count as your grade. All the things that we have done in math, about real numbers, adding and subtracting integers I should look back on and start studying soon. Three exams that I should start doing is Science, English, and Math. Maybe even Spanish. Those are the ones that are really going to be of a challenge for me. I think I understand the evaluating expressions, and translating because they were not really that hard. The one thing that I need extra help with is the absolute value. I had a hard time with that subject. I totally understand how they affect our grade because Mrs. Jovanovich was explaining it in class. The only thing I don't really understand is how they look. I've never really seen them to know what they look like. Maybe that's something that I could start looking at. Hopefully there not a struggle!!
