Minuteman

In the years just before the revolutionary war, volenteers were orginized into military companies and trained to bear arms. These men were called Minuteman beacause they were prepared to fight at a minute notice.
When the Massachusetts militia was reorginized in 1774,the provincal congress provided that one third of all the new regiments were to be made up from Minuteman. in 1775 many colinies trained military companies at the suggestion of the continental congress the most famous minuteman came from massachusetts. Minuteman fought side by side with the militia at lexington and concord. The minuteman group disapeard when regular armies were formed.

Right now im reading brians hunt it is about brian on a hunt with a dog he finds that is wounded I think by a Bear. :)
