Gold Report
Have you ever heard of the elements on the periodic table? Have you ever heard of a specific element, gold? If you haven’t I recommend you to read this report. It contains numerous factual information on gold. I hope you learn from this report about gold.
Let us discuss the basic facts about gold. The atomic number of gold is 79. The atomic symbol of gold is Au. If you were wondering, Au stands for Aurum which is the Latin word for gold. I would like to mention, gold comes from the Old English word geolo, which means yellow. The location of gold is in ores that includes gold ores and ores of other elements and minerals
Let us focus on some more information. The freezing point of gold is 1945.4 degrees farenheit. That means that gold will freeze at 1945.4 degrees farenheit. The melting point of gold is 1947.52 degrees farenheit. The boiling point of gold is 5173 degrees farenheit. The uses for gold are electronics, jewelry, and coins. The discovery date of gold is circa 3000 B.C. but the discoverer of gold is unknown.
Now let us get into some interesting facts. Gold has been recycled since discovered. Pure gold jewelry has other materials mixed in with it. Pure gold is not toxic so people put it in some alcoholic drinks. Gold can cause skin allergies. The allergies affect more women than men. In 1968, gold was made Alaska’s state mineral. India buys the most gold in the world.
Let us get in depth about some more facts about gold. There is gold in the ocean. Gold never rusts. Gold conducts electricity and heat. The largest gold nugget weighed 195 pounds. Less than 50% of all of the world’s gold, even the ones above ground, is still in the ground. There are lots of different colors of gold that have different minerals in them.
Ruthenium Report
Have you heard of the elements on the periodic table? Have you heard of a specific element, ruthenium? Well, if you haven’t I really recommend you read this report. It contains many factual information on ruthenium. I hope you learn from this report.
Let us discuss the basic information about ruthenium. The atomic number of ruthenium is 44. The atomic symbol of ruthenium is RU. RU stands for ruthenium. The name ruthenium came from the Latin word Ruthenia, which means Russia. That is a reference to where ruthenium was discovered. Ruthenium was discovered in 1844. The discoverer of ruthenium was Karl Klaus.
Now let us focus on some more information on ruthenium. The melting point is 4082oF. The boiling point is 7052oF. The freezing point is 4190oF. The uses for ruthenium are alloys, coloring ceramics, anti-cancer medicine, and solar energy technology. Ruthenium is in ores of other minerals.
Now let us get into some interesting facts about ruthenium. It is in the iron group. Ruthenium has been extracted from used nuclear fuel. 1 kilogram of ruthenium costs $1286. Ruthenium is a transition metal. It is very hard to find alone. When extracting ruthenium from other ores there are precious metals such as palladium, rhodium, and platinum as by products.
Silver Report
Have you heard about the element silver? Silver as others is a valuable element as well. It contains a plethora of factual information on silver.
First, let’s discuss the basic information about silver. Silver's atomic number is 47. Another thing is that silver’s atomic symbol is AG. AG stands for the Latin word argentum. Silver’s name itself came from the Old English word seolfor, which means silver. Silver can be found in the ores of many things, those things being argentine, light ruby silver, dark ruby silver, zinc, lead, copper, and brittle silver.
Now let’s get into some more facts. The freezing point of silver is very high actually, being 961oF or less. This is because metals are frozen when they are solid. The melting point is 1763.474oF. The boiling point is 401.6oF. The uses for silver are jewelry, silverware, utensils, coins, and ornaments. The discovery of silver is unknown. The discoverer of silver is unknown as well.
Now let’s learn about some interesting facts about silver. Silver was used to heal people before antibiotics were invented. This is because silver has healing properties. Also, the expression, “Born with a silver spoon in their mouth,” doesn’t mean that you are rich, but instead means that babies fed with silver utensils are healthier. Silver is the metal of the moon.
Silver is very interesting. Here are some more interesting facts. Silver zinc and silver alloys are used for batteries. Silver alloys are used for dental fillings. Silver mirrors can reflect the most light. One ounce of silver can be stretched out into 8000 feet of thin wire. More than 2/3 of silver is a product of lead, copper, and zinc mining. Silver has been used for coins since 700 B.C. Silver is one of the softest metals.
In my opinion, all the elements are equally important. They all have different values and uses. I hope you learned from this report.

Have you ever heard of Sacagawea? Well if you haven’t, I really recommend you read this. It will contain lots of information on Sacagawea. I hope you read and enjoy this.
Sacagawea was a Shoshone who was an interpreter and a guide to Lewis and Clark. She also helped them gather food, led them the right way, and even got them horses! She was very valuable to have on the team. She has many things named after her. Without her, Lewis and Clark would have failed.
I would like to learn things from Sacagawea. Those things would be things about travel such as information on directions, using tools, and looking for the right things to eat such the different kinds of berries (determining which ones are poisonous and which ones are not). Also, I would like to learn more about the Shoshone and her relation to them. I know she is a part of the Shoshone tribe, but in the book Lewis and Clark it said that they considered her as, “a lost daughter that had come home.”
Well, that is all. I hope you enjoyed reading this blog. I also hope that you learned a lot about Sacagawea. Thank you for reading.

One fine windy day all of the crew was aboard The Wanderer. Rosalie is aboard with them. Dock invited her when they were on that one walk. If you didn’t know, Dock loves Rosalie. Everybody was just having a good time when they heard a very loud BANG! They went outside to look.
Cody was the first one to notice something very peculiar. He shouted, “THERE IS A GIANT TENTACLE HITTING THE SHIP!” Sophie started crying and she fell off and screamed, “THE GIANT TENTACLE IS EATING MY FA----“They couldn’t hear her anymore.
Brian started panicking and yelling, “ONE DOWN!” When Brian was running around screaming like a little girl, he accidentally pushed Cody off. Cody went down and yelled, “THAT IS DEFINITELY NOT A TENTACLE! THAT IS A----------“He was dead, too.
Brian felt so bad that he just said, “I HAVE DISCRACED MY FAMILY!” He then jumped off. The tentacle then rose up. It was not just a tentacle. It was giant sea monster! Everybody was panicking when Dock finally said, “GET DA BIG TENTACUL!” He was so scared he wasn’t talking right.
Uncle Mo jumped off and kicked the sea monster but it did nothing. He died. Uncle Stew tried to throw a chair at it but it just used the chair to pull him in. It was just Dock and Rosalie now. Dock was panicking because Rosalie was crying. He decided it was time to do something. He didn’t do anything though because he couldn’t without dying.
He saw the sea monster rise up and then he heard somebody talking. Was he hallucinating? No, the sea monster was talking. The sea monster said, “I was just trying to knock on your door. Everybody tried to kill me. I was just going to apologize for sending that huge wave your way. It was an accident from a pool party. I’m sorry for everything. You can stay at my 5 Star Hotel, The Sea Monster Paradise.” Dock asked nervously, “Where is the hotel?” The sea monster said, “In my stomach. The others are already there.” Dock said, “Tell them I’m coming.” Rosalie said, “IS THIS HOW YOU TREAT A WOMAN?!” She called a whale, jumped into his blowhole, and lived there forever. It is a pretty nice place, actually. It has electricity and everything. The crew of The Wanderer stayed at the hotel while the sea monster took them to Bompie’s house.
THE END!

The Jr. Iditarod’s Safety!
Have you ever heard of the Jr. Iditarod? Well if you have, then you will understand what this blog is all about. This blog will be about what the Jr. Iditarod does for the competitors and how they keep them safe.
First of all, the racers have checkpoints. You wonder how this protects the racers, don’t you? Well if a racer is not there after a certain amount of time something is wrong and they will go looking for him. For example, if somebody is gone for 1 hour and it takes 5 minutes to get to there, there is definitely something wrong.
There is also a half way checkpoint. This halfway checkpoint is very important. It helps people locate the racers. Racers are required to stay at this halfway checkpoint for at least 10 hours. Racers stay at this place to prepare. They get their food, equipment, and check their dogs. If the dog’s feet hurt they get special little booties for their feet. Racers help one another at this place.
Each dog gets 2 pounds of food. The racers have to bring their own dog food, though. I would say that they are well fed. They have to be full to race, right? Well, I would say that is pretty cool.
Well, that is it. I hope you have learned from this. I also hope that you have enjoyed this blog. Thank you for reading.

Dear Mom,
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3d is a very cool game. This blog will be on why you should buy me this game. I hope you read this through carefully. I hope you will buy me this game.
The first reason you should buy me this game is so I will stop saying, “I’m bored,” all the time. If I am not bored, you won’t have to find something for me to do which will clear up your schedule. You will have time to do mandatory tasks.
Another reason is that I won’t bother you all the time. This will give you more relaxation time. Also, you won’t have to listen to me annoy you. You will have a lot of spare time to do the things that you enjoy dearly such as exercising and relaxing.
Everybody has this game! You wouldn’t want me to be the guy to not have this game? I bet not. That would be tragic. That would make me the guy in those movies that doesn’t fit in.
If we buy this game at GameStop we will save money! We will also get points so that I could get free stuff online. If we buy something with the PowerUp Rewards Card we will save money and get points. Those points can be used to buy stuff online. We won’t have to spend money, it is completely free!
People everywhere, as well as online say that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3d is the best 3ds game out there. There was this website that I went to that said that it was number 1 on the charts. Nintendo even has some personal picks. One of them is this game.
The last thing that I want to say is that it can improve many things. Those things are hand-eye coordination, reflexes, scavenging skills, patience, critical thinking, and puzzle and problem solving. This will give me the skills to help me further in my lifetime.
Well, that is it! I hope you read this through and buy me this game. I also hoped that you thought it was good. Thank you for reading this!
Sincerely,
Nitesh P.

The Mostly True Adventures of Homer P. Figg is a great story. This blog will be about a certain part of it. I hope you like it. Sit back and enjoy reading this awesome blog. Hopefully it will be awesome.
The certain part of the story is Homer leaves the comfort and safety of Jebediah Brewster’s home. He does this because he loves Harold. He loves Harold because he is his brother. He is going to save him! He is very determined to do this and that is why he does it.
Harold got sold to the army in the first place because their uncle Squint was pretty mean and sold him for a bottle of whisky at an underage. Homer does not like this so when he goes to the army he spots Jebediah Brewster’s home along the way. From there he goes to some other places and reaches the army eventually. He goes to a hot air balloon, a circus, and many more places. He does this to get Harold back because he is very upset about him being sold under aged for a bottle of whisky. He is very mad.
He gets to the army in a lot of crazy ways. One of them is to cut the anchor on the hot air balloon so he can fly to the army. He succeeds. The balloon sails all the way to the army! He goes through all this trouble just to bring Harold back home. Homer must really love him.
Well, that’s all folks! I hope you liked it and enjoyed the blog! If you haven’t, you should read the book. Thank you for reading. Wait. Wasn’t this awesome? The blog? Yup! I hope you did!

Mayflower Adventure!

November 4, 1620
Dear Buwa (Grandpa),
Hi! How is it going in Plymouth, England? It has been O.K. over here on the Mayflower. There have been some tragic events over here, but I have gotten past those scary times. I will tell you what has been happening soon. By the way, how is everybody? I hope they are doing very good and not missing us a lot. I hope you haven’t either.
The Mayflower is a very nice ship. The only downside is that the food is very rotten and old. It tastes disgusting and horrid. The journey is very scary. The sea is very dark. I am terrified and horrified by it. I hope we are almost there, The New Land.
The most terrifying thing has happened! The captain is about to go into the light! (DIE!) We were all so scared! Then the next day god was on our side! A doctor on the ship had medicine that was made from healing berries! (MAGICAL BERRIES!) It was a miracle! I was so happy that I was still alive because the captain would not have been able to steer the ship! YAY!
The captain got sick because of the rotten food. I would rather drink water for the rest of my life! I am serious. It is pretty nasty. I wish we had our basements! This is not cool man!
The happiest thing in my life happened! The sailors were all like, “Land ho!” It was amazing! I was crying for happiness. Tears of Joy were pouring out of my eyes. I just invented something else! I AM SO HAPPY! This has been an alright journey, but I LOVE the ending! I hope you enjoyed hearing about it!
Well, this is your grandson all the way here in, wait. Guess what we named it? Plymouth, New England! Yes we named it after our hometown! I hope you have been enjoying this letter. I miss you so much! I wish you could’ve come on this lonely journey! Only Mom, Dad, Nisha and I are here. It gets lonely very quickly. Well, hope to hear from you soon!

Ben Franklin's Big Ideas and Accomplishments

Ben Franklin was a pretty amazing guy. Do you know about his big ideas? In this essay I am going to write about them. You will be outstanded by this essay. It will be the best you have ever read.
Guess what? In 1733 Ben Franklin published something big. It was an almanac, the first almanac to be exact. This amazing book was a very useful tool. The name was The Poor Richard’s Almanac. It included sayings, when to plant, when the sun and moon rose and set, and lots more! Ben sold 10 million copies each year for 26 years. He was making business! It was amazing!
I bet you knew about Ben discovering lightning and electricity was the same thing. This was one of his best ideas in my opinion. He used a kite and a key for this experiment. He also was the inventor of the lightning rod! The lightning rod was an amazing thing. It was placed on the top of a sentry box on a high tower on a big hill. Someone would be standing in the sentry box all the time to see if it worked, and it did eventually. Whenever lightning would strike the electricity would go through the pole and harmlessly go into the ground. That was outstanding!
Did you know that Ben was good at socializing? Well he was. He was so good that he was able to talk France into supporting them in the Revolutionary War. He went to France in 1776. France gave us money and weapons! The French loved him because of his tattered clothes. I don’t know why. The French women called him Papa. Ben did a good job there. Everybody was all happy about this when he returned because of the good news.
Ben also helped write The Declaration of Independence and The Constitution of America. That was pretty amazing. He was also the inventor of fire insurance. Fire insurance is when something is on fire somebody would replace it unless it was irreplaceable like family photos. That is awesome!
Weren’t you amazed by this essay?! I hope you thought this essay was outstanding and epic. I hope you learned lots of new facts. Thank you for reading.

What I Think Ben Jonson Meant

In the story William Shakespeare and the Globe, a man named Ben Jonson said the quote, “William was not for an age, but for all time.” I think he meant that William was not a passing trend. He would live on in our lives forever with his plays. I think that because in the quote he says for all time. Also, because he said not for an age which means that even when he is dead, he will still be with us. People today still remember him. His name and he will never be forgotten.

The Florida Everglades: The Creation

In this blog, I am going to explain how the Everglades was created. I hope you like it.
One day during the age of the seashells, the sea lowered. The seashells turned into limestone. Over time the sea slowly lowered more and the limestone turned into land. There were many storms during this time. The rain from the storms eroded the limestone and the limestone had holes in them. There were now many new lakes from the water that filled the holes. One of them was Lake Okeechobee. Lake Okeechobee then overflowed. The water that overflowed turned into a river that is now known as the Florida Everglades.
